ROFL.. I bet 90% of the people posting about how they want a 35 dollar stuffed animal, just because its Gw2 have atleast posted once some anti cash shop / company greed post.. But oh wait, its Gw2 the second coming of christ in video game form, lets all swipe our credit cards for stuffed animals..
No I really LOL'd at this one.. sooooo epic... so very epic.

Because a god damn plushie is going to make you better ingame than the rest of population who doesn't buy the plushie.
Or the the game will be designed to work around making ppl buy the plushie.
No i really LOL'd at this one.. sooooo dumb... so ver dumb.

Or maybe it's just a stuffed animal... From a game... That we happen to like (I'm thinking more about GW1 than GW2)... And maybe, and only maybe, people just buy this kind of stuff. Giving a charr to your girlfriend that happens to play GW with you just sounds nicer than giving her a generic stuffed bear (in case you want to give her this kind of gift).

It's hideous and costs more than two months of subbed gameplay. Edit: they didn't even make the effort of designing realistic eyes but just sewed them on V_V

You know, I'd probably consider getting this if it was AFTER the game was actually released... however I've learned to never invest large amounts of money into an MMO until it has actually proven itself to be successful.

Or there could totally be a difference between a cash shop and associated merchandise. Cash shop with products that are used in game vs. a company store of merchandise are completely different in their impact on the game. Merchandise serves as advertising for the game and memoriabilia while a cash shop sells actual virtual items which are used in game with an impact in that game.
As for company greed, I find most of those claims silly. It comes down to a company not using their money properly, making foolish decisions. Every decision a company makes is in its self interest, which is perfectly morally acceptable.
Now to the issue of stuffed animal. It's overpriced. Supply might not meet demand on this one, but for some people it may seem worth it.

Awww...your impotent rage and bitter sarcasm is adorable! They should make you into a plushie.
Well I just spent 45 bucks. I figured it's going to be worth it, since they say it's 17 inches long. That's quite large for a plush, just wondering if that's with the tail extended or not... Either way, I'm a huge Charr fanboi, so when I'm playing GW2 and it's sitting next to my monitor, I'll hug it and then charge out at the enemy. =3

Kind of a lot for a plushie, but I must have one!

I also loved it, but since my currence is not dollar, it gets a bit pricey to me also. Also there is the international delivery fee.
But I like the idea, they should do this more often and maybe I'd buy some GW stuff to make my bedroom a cuter place or to gift someone with style.
