I would have to agree with you ...either Ghost in the Shell or Appleseed would be a great mmorpg. I have often thought that Planet of the Apes would make an interesting mmorpg ...not the Tim Burton movie but the original with Heston. But then again, I am not too sure about having the majority of humans being mute and dumb ...they would have to borrow from the Burton movie where they did talk.
I think that a really well made western type mmorpg would be awesome. I love old western movies and would love to be able to get into gun fights and such.

Ravenloft and Dragonlance are both kick a. I run a DragonLance campaign myself in 3rd Ed. Another good MMORPG, Cowboy Bebop, or maybe Full Metal Alchemist...
