Not buying it unless it solves the mystery of my disappearing socks!
The immortality should give you plenty of time to solve it yourself and, even better, now you can practice all lara-moves to perfection so you can follow your cat, who's suspected to be the mastermind behind the mystery, into those impossible places.
By the way, GW2 will also be able to calculate the answer to life, the universe, and everything in a little less than half an hour once the game launches. That will be pretty interesting...and after that we can set the game to work on finding the question.
Off topic: Props on the Hitchhiker’s guide to the galaxy reference, you sir are a genius.
On Topic: Just as a bow to Fozzik’s wisdom GW2 will also teach us all to fly.
Gw2 is like that hot women across the street but she is invisible. That is what i see from fanbois of this game, they are staring/stumbling over stuff at this super hot women but are looking at an invisible women,a game that doesn't exist yet.
Conclusion: GW2 is not only an awesome mmo, but also a hot woman, and a working cloaking device - before it even exists!

Lazy. You're going to be immortal. You have all the time there is to solve your own sock problems!
I am convinced there is only one way to eliminate these grave evils, namely through the establishment of a socialist economy, accompanied by an educational system which would be oriented toward social goals.
So you do a low-brow 'satire' regarding the interest that Guild Wars 2 has garnered for itself, one that exudes immaturity and drips with brattish snide, and in this 'satire' you make an attempted snide remark as to the maturity of the Guild Wars 2 fans themselves?
That has to be the most prolific and roundabout oxymoron of the week.
Look, guy, if you're going to do satire then you have to do it well. And you're just not cut out for humour. Take it from a British person who knows humour, whose culture is ingrained with the very essence of irony and satire; This just isn't a talent you have. Now, I'm sure you do have talents, and I'd suggest exercising them instead. Stick with whatever it is you're good at, because it certainly isn't this. You came over as self-interested, egotistical, and frankly prickish in that bit of 'satire.' And the only amusement to be found there would be in schadenfreude at how lacking the effort was.
Now then, do what you're good at, and know that it isn't this. Then neither you nor I will have to feel embarrassed by it.

A tad harsh, I think.
I actually like GW2, and thought it rather amusing - what transpired afterwards may be different, but the OP was good to start.

#4: GW2's art is so breathtaking that musemus will burn all former classic works of art (i.e., Mona Lisa) and replace them with Guild Wars 2 concept art. Once this art is viewed by the public, anything less looks like 1970's wallpaper
He's right actually, the opening post wasn't satire, not by a long shot. Not too important to many, but I imagine for someone a bit serious about humour the classifiaction as satire could be annoying.
Ah well, we'll have eternity, so we'll figure it out, eventually.

Hello pot meet kettle.....
I never said I was good at it. Some people thougth it as funny :P I'm perfectly comfortable doing things I'm not good at. I like golf, but I'm terrible.
This game is going to be so powerful that centuries from now there will be a midget who walks hundreds of miles to throw a sealed boxed copy into the fiery pits of hell in order to break its hold on the world.

You'll have to wait for the 3rd expansion, due out before core game release.
