They said they will send an email on the day you get your access. If you ordered within the first week of pre-orders then your most likely to get in on the 13th. If you ordered within the last 2 months you might get 1 day :P
Is this just your opinion or do you have proof in the form of a link?
Starting December 13, 2011, 7:00AM EST (Pacific: December 13th, 4:00AM PST; European: December 13th, 12:00PM GMT, 1:00PM CET), The Old Republic will begin emailing invitations to start your Early Game Access. Invitations will be sent throughout the Early Game Access period offering rolling access to the game in the order in which you redeemed your Pre-Order Code, so be sure to check your email inbox!
Something I'm wondering about... if I get my CE on Tuesday (highly likely), then if I add the CE code to my account will it give me access to the game?
Why would it? The game isn't released until the 20th. Your retail code has zero effect on pre-ordering.
Unfortunately, I didn't pre-order until a month and a half after they became available, so I don't expect to get in on the 13th, but you can damn sure bet that I will be checking my email every half an hour regardless. And when that email finally comes, a happy dance will ensue.
They said they will send an email on the day you get your access. If you ordered within the first week of pre-orders then your most likely to get in on the 13th. If you ordered within the last 2 months you might get 1 day :P
Complete garbage. The only thing about this that is 'likely' is that people who ordered the 1st day/week (and probably month) will be the ones in on day one. No one anywhere said anything about the last month(s) or even days/weeks getting a single day.
As several here have said, the likely scenario is that they (EA) added the 2 extra days so that people in the first 1-2 months of pre-orders get in by the 15th/16th so that everyone who ordered last minute doesn't feel slighted by a single day of early access. They are already stirring up a good bit of negative feelings with the 'no grace period' announcement.

Holy shit, what are you bitching about? You get early access to the game (ie. before the normal start date of Dec 20) to get into game and begin leveling before the masses. My God man, why don't you just return your pre-order if you're having such an emotional coniption fit over it.
On a slightly different note regarding the early access and pre order, I'm wondering if anyone knows when the payment for the pre order will be taken? I pre-ordered on day one through Origin, and they took my £5 with £54.99 still to pay. If I get in the game via the early start on the 13th, will they take the rest of my money then, or will they wait until the official launch date of £20th?
A post on the forums before they shut down said physical copies ordered from origin will be charged on the 13th. Thats when the physical copies from origin orders are being shipped out. Digital copies will be charged on the 16th since thats when they are starting to email the game codes for digital copies.
If true, that makes me happy. To bad they couldn't put that in the FAQ on the origin site.
How many people long for that "past, simpler, and better world," I wonder, without ever recognizing the truth that perhaps it was they who were simpler and better, and not the world about them? R.A.Salvatore

This is not entirely true. "You get early access before the masses" does not apply when there's up to 1.5M+ pre-orders who will get early access. TOR's release date is really the 13th, but Bioware wanted to make a cautionary launch of the game so servers have fewer problems. But instead of saying "The release date is the 13th, but we'll have to stagger people." they marketed it as early access, which is a brilliant marketing move since you still get a staggered launch without making people angry!

It is true. If you have a pre-order code attached to your account, you are guaranteed some time in Early Access.
You can argue semantics all you want. You'll just end up looking like a total idiot.

Ironic, the only bitching I see is yours. All he is doing is repudiating Nashers statement. He dosen't even mention whether he has early access let alone bitch about. No wonder people are confused the level of reading comprehension displayed around here.
Question, are the early-access e-mails different than the code itself? If it is, I pre-ordered through WalMart and not sure if I received a code. Anyone else got this problem?
Please come check out my stream. All the love is appreciated!

I did pre-order and will get in for early access. I was annoyed by nashers 'If you ordered in the last two months you might get 1 day'. Comments like that can only cause folks to panic when it is entirely unfounded. People who ordered in the last two months or even the last two days might get 3, 4 or even 5 days. No one knows.

The email you get will be sent to your email associated with your SWToR account on the day that you are allowed to play for early access (which is based on the date you registered your pre-order code).
The actual live game code will be sent with the box (if you are getting a box) and electronically whenever those go out. The email inviting you to start early access won't require a new code beyond the one you got when you put money down at wal-mart.

Well, Nasher did use the word "might". He didn't say they defeintly would. Considering the wording of the the Early Access advertisement where players "may get up to 5 days early access", it's fully possible that the later pre-orders may get only a day.
Not trying to incite anything, just pointing out a vary valid possibility. People need to be prepared for anything.

You should recieve an email from wallmart with the pre-order early access code to apply to your swtor account. If you havent you should email or call wallmart Customer support and ask them for one.
I will say wallmart was a bad choice. Wallmart has already had issues with there system cancelling peoples orders (though they did get it fixed). Personally if I was you I would simply cancel your wallmart order and pre-order digitally from origin (unless you hate origin or just have to have a physical copy of the game).

You are probably too late. The offer has been open for months.
You would receive a pre order code from Walmart if you were not. You then need to apply this code to your account on swtor.com.
This is a different code to the one in your physical box = the code for the game.
Hmm, could it possibly be because it still says processing?
Thanks everyone for the helpful comments.

Yea that could be the reason. You may have to wait till tomorrow. But if you dont have the email by the time you get home from school/work I would call them.
Is there a code with the early access part? If not call customer service when they are open. You clearly should get one if the email says that and it does you no good if it comes on the 20th lol.
