    Unrealistic expectations are unrealistic.

Also, most servers DON'T have full queue times, in fact my server that is a very popular one only has had queues from 2pm - 8pm EST,  There are plenty I see logging in that are only "heavy" with no queue.  Play one of those.

The maintenance started at 7am, it was intended to conclude at 1pm est   That is 6 hours, they just extended it without a notice as to when it will be done, critical failures happen.

I remember when Firelands came out for WoW, there was a patch that made my server down for literally 16 hours.  Guess what? This isn't even half that yet.

Seems like a lot of complainers like to complain (and exagerate times, difficulties, and problems)

I was on the fence, but the thing that swayed me was the fact that wow's armor detail is way more detailed than this, and lets face it how a charcter looks is 90% of the appeal for me lol

    No for 3 reasons.

    1)  LFG tool not in game.  Having to spam trade is not playing.  I dont care if I have to find the mission start first. Just let me queue up afterwards.  This is really going to hurt BW.  I think most people will go because of this reason and when it happens the people who are against it will also have a hard time finding a group.

    2) Ability Delay.  This is pretty much critical.  You cannot get a real rotation off correctly due to abilties being cancelled it even though the cast time is finished but the animation is not.  Sometimes it goes off sometimes it doesn't.  See this thread from better explanation http://www.swtor.com/community/showthread.php?t=84943

    3) No way ot customize UI.  This UI needs some work.  Get a developer kit out there so people can adjust it the way they want it.

I was turned off by those three durring open beta and was on watch to see if they'd fix these by launch, apparently they didn't an it seems to be almost unfixable due to the coding and how it's deep into the engin or w/e, if they fix number 2 mainly, I'd be happy to play the game again an enjoy it.

I hope they do fix it because I am an KOTOR, Sci Fi, and Star wars fan in general so I hope they do fix those issues..

This post is ridiculous your expectations for a game that just launched are way too high you knew this game was gonna be way more popular then Rift just because the Name on the product.

You should of expected que's for the first free month...

As for the maintenance, go do something else I mean there is a life outside gaming..

Geez is there anything people don't complain about I mean if this the only reason you can find not to sub it's pretty sad....

Laughing man it's there whether you like that it's there or not, it's starting to become a majority issue, and it was an issue for many past mmos. Hell you can't even get on your mount in a smooth manor, there is proof of this in video format and compared by WoW since no matter how many people hate WoW they did manage to get that right.

It's better to let Bioware know it's an issue rather than act like it's not there because that's what a lot of fans did in previous mmos.

I will keep subbing, I just hit lvl 41 on my Imperial Agent have been blown away by the whole storyline. If the other class storylines are anywhere as good I will most definitely be leveling many alts in order to see them all. Most of my fellow guild members are just now getting into the 40s so we still have heroic flashpoints and operations to get into so we still have a long way to go before we even start thinking about unsubbing.

I hit button, character mounts up, before animation of mount is even complete I am riding mount away from location I summoned speeder bike.

Thanks for posting the videos I do realize what you mean, the good thing is this isnt unfixable it is actually quite easy for them to patch this up, I personally do not see this cause I wait until I actually get the mount in this case before start running, this is a case of the server compensating for the client-server lag, and actually forcing the client to be a state that you have not seen.

If you look closely on the WoW video actually says failed because technically the cast was cancelled at the last milisecond but because the server timer already aknowledge the cast it forces the client into the state, so you could argue it is a preference really and could not even be by design but just a side effect of the WoW server architecture.

As a dev myself this seems fairly easy to fix which is allow the server to force a client state when it is too close to the end of the cast timer rather than let the client cancel it.

Yea it shows durring different lvls of classes like on sith warrior as my newphew was playing you can see it clearly from the start, he presses two and the guy ets ready, then re gets ready again then hits.

It's might be easy to fix but so far games that had these issues didn't deal with them mainly because it was like people act like it was perfect and some exaggerated it but then some brought it up as a huge and valid issue.

I'm brinin it up so people who are starting to get cocky an think nothings wrong well it's time to support the real issues because that thread is growing and people are getting to the point were they are about to leave, same happened in Aion.

I hope your right about it being easy to fix though some actually concur with it since they would almost have to re do the anims and what not.

I AM in a guild and not everyone is on the same quest. I want a lfd feature too. There is no excuse not to have one in this day and age.

It is a game, not a chat room. People have been playing with 2d graphics for years too .. Do u want that in a game? Something that is old is not necessarily good.
