Uhhhh what? They made the page... if, for some reason, all the sudden people are having trouble canceling their account... then they must have changed something in the coding on that web page.... cause it was working before.

They made the web page and its not dispalying right on people's browsers.... how is that NOT biowares fault?

Huh, that's weird... button shows up just fine for me in Firefox, IE, Opera, and Chrome. Tell these people to stop using Netscape Navigator, I guess.

They MUST have done something huh? It HAS to be their fault! It HAS to! It can't be the actual browsers fault that you are looking at. It CAN"T be!

BW caused global warming! BW brought down the Twin Towers! Typhoid Mary? More like Typhoid EA! And they went into the past and became the father of Hitler (sorry I HAD to go there).

So how stupid did that last paragraph sound? Just as stupid as OP sounds.

On a per card holder basis, that could be a fairly large sum of money and could tie up a large number of employees trying to manage it.

    this

not to mention the PR nightmare

From seeing all these threads about the issue pop up and what some are saying I don't think many understand you can do this, all you got to do is call your bank and they will block the charges. I've had to do that with my sprint phone before because I was being charged some sort of 3rd party text service for 9.99 a month that I never signed up for or even knew I got until the strange textes started to come in.

Cmon, you know those folks over at Bioware, they were so sure people would be totally amazed with SWTOR that it never occurred to them they would actually want to cancel, so they never bothered to test the button. image

Yeah... thats the way the law works man....

If I come to your house and walk up your steps and one of them is missing and I fall and break my arm... guess who's fault it is..... uh yours.

It don't matter if someone came in the middle of the night and stole your step... its your house... its your liability

This is BW house... anything thats wrong with it is, in fact, THEIR fault

And this is what is so terribly wrong with this country.

You trip and fall and break your arm, you shouldn't be a clumsy fool and realize there is a stair missing, step over the gaping hole, and kindly inform the owner "hey man, you know you are missing a stair?"

"Really? Oh someone must have stolen it in the middle of the night. I'll fix that right away and post a sign."

    1950's solution.

lol by "you" I don't mean you just as a term in the story for people in general.

If people are having issues, it is Bioware's (or their web hosting companies) responsibility to fix it, which they are probably working on right now.

Im no expert but im pretty sure websites working with certain browsers have to be scripted differently in order to work.... Even if this isnt the case it is clearly their fault, pretty sure its obvious that poeple use other browsers besides IE. Plz dont flame me as this is my opinion, you can choose whether or not u agree.
