Agreed... and that's why I brought to everyone's attention. Because if it where me... I wouldn't have thought anything of it as I have done it in other games with no ill effects. I figured that gold farming rules where there for just that... to stop gold farmers... like actual gold farmers. And Im not one... so... if i played the game... this could have been me getting perma banned for something silly.

Well here isn't to much to play right now... Skyrim... thats about it... and ive sank hundreds of hours into it by now. I do enjoy being on the forums... not just this one. And I talk about this game because maybe... just maybe... if enough people tear into this AAA WoW clone then they will finally stop making them and make something different for a change.

This is actually a great argument on itself, even outside its appliance here to games but in general: there's always some rules to disagree with, but be careful with breaking them or accept the potential consequences.wait a min wasnt that the guy that was raging (30 mins) about how wow is perfection.... and how swtor sucks so bad? and how he was going to go back to wow ....ect?

I remeber when LOTRO was being made and their fanboys had an airtight defense against the WoW guys, because you know, warcraft is a very bad ripoff of Tolkein.
Its impossible to call LOTRO a WoW ripoff when you know for a fact that if Tolkein hadn't written his books, we would have no WoW.
If i changed it to that then people like you would complain that they expected a thread about sex in SWTOR or some crap like that and thats its still misleading... really the current title was my only option. Apperently to read a title and think critically is beyond some people

Probably right where mine is, in the correct place. What the person did was a creative way of gold farming, but still gold farming no matter how you look at it and I for one am sorry that he did not receive a PERMANENT BAN for it.

seems to work for Blizzard, though I hear Diablo III is having trouble. I don't know how you could make something like that any harder than microwaving a hot pocket, but there you have it.

Everything you do here doesn't even put a dent in TOR's success (you read regardless of facts: lack of). I wish you would take a more positive approach to meet your goal like generating a lot of interest and spread work of what kinds of MMOs should be developed instead of mucking up the forums with troll threads.
If Final Fantasy wasn't Asian-trash childsplay to begin with then yes I would. But if was actually good then why not?
Their are other things to fritter the hours away other than gaming, MMO or otherwise. I choose the best things to waste time on. Discworld books for reading, for instance. Many good TV series that were copypasta over the years also. Music like Green Day that sound the same from 10,000 Slappy hours to American Idiot.

Final Fantasy's are only loosely related to one another. They are tied only by lore, and not gameplay. FF1-14 have never been a heavy rehash of earlier titles, and almost all of them have major overhauls if not complete overhauls of battle systems and characters, the -2's not counting (ff10-2 and 13-2.) Please stick to the swtor/wow/whatever discussions, bringing my FF into this will only result on me heading to your crib and 'tickling' you, you big baby =P

If there has been a game franchise that HASN'T been copying and pasting their own successful game over and over again, then it's Final Fantasy. From FF1 to FF14, as good as all of them were different worlds, with different introduced gameplay features and minigames. Look at SC-SC2 and MW1-2-3 and Uncharted 1-2 etc and you may have a point. Final Fantasy, sorry, not so much.
As for your 'mission' to keep bashing TOR in the hopes of getting the MMO's you like 5 years later down the road, reality check: there are already a whole host of different, non-WoW themepark style MMO's upcoming this year and next no matter if TOR is a success or not. So that argument makes little (common) sense, at least to me.I'm in the Beta for D3. The only trouble I see is it is EXACTLY like 1 and 2. Slightly better graphics. But most fans want it that way, or so i've been told. Only played it for a couple of hours. Got a bruise on my forehead from falling asleep while playing and slammed into my desk.

Im so glad he is out of the game... who knows what kind of in game devistation that would have wrought on the economy... almost broke the whole damn game.
I am in awe at the benevolance of BW/EA in even allowing this... CRETIN... back into the game. I honestly don't know how they could allow such a person in an enviroment where children play... he should be arrested.
