You would still have to 1.pay the fee 2.level them up again because each tree has its seperate lvl and XP bar.
But ofcourse there will always be someone dissastified. That's how this community rolls. First they ask for freedom, and when they get it they will usually say "oh noes too much freedom!".
I know, right? It's like when someone says they want some excitement, but when you punch them in the face, they're still not happy!
Guess I'll have to see how the respec system actually works. Now you make it sound like it would almost be easier to start a new character, so not sure what to make of it.
When I want a single-player story, I'll play a single-player game. When I play an MMO, I want a massively multiplayer world.
Big fail. You can change the 3 skills you picked as many times as you want, as long as you got money. Bored of being a mage? You can become a melee DPS on the same character. The rest don't even need to be commented, it's full of bias.
You can just change your skills that easily? You don't have to make more than one character, to try different types? What fun are choices, if they don't mean anything? That does sound like a big fail to me, too
the new skill you have chosen starts from level 1 you have to level it from start. you don't just change your class and poof you are max level. talk about something w you have no idea? :P

Yes, I think its pointless to follow games that aren't playable, yet. I post about them, read forums for all these different upcoming games, but I'm not going to get obsessed with one, study all these details, just to find out later that it works differently than it sounded in the hype.
