What race do you think look the best with which profs?

Example, some races look really good with certain armor/weapons over most. Which races do you think look the best with each prof?
Personally, I love the look of the Charr with the Warrior and Ranger classes. I also really like the Asura as Engineers.

Made a slight tweak here and there.
Human warriors also look cool in my opinion, even better than Norn, if you ignore the size. Humans have more ''medieval - knight- type armor'' look which i like.
Also - humans can really look cool in every profession. The only match I would never make is a Sylvari Engineer - just doesn't feel right...
All the races look good imo. I always prefer having small characters who don't block alot of the action though so Asura all the way.
Silly thread. The only answer is Charr.

On first look mostly all races looks great with all profession. My favorite for now is norn ranger. We will now when the game finally come out.
Right, I think sylvari will be weird with engineers as well as norn with any of the casting classes. Anything else makes a lot of sense.
I really love the Charr too...
But - I have to admit, I find they don't look as good on the caster classes IMO. I'm actually a big fan of the Sylvari with cloth/caster armor and Charr with medium/heavy.
Of course, all personal preference, but since we have a little bit of a wait might as well discuss something LOL.
Heres my opinion on this:
Guardian: Human, Norn, Charr
Warrior: Human, Norn, Charr
Engineer: Asura, Human
Ranger: Human, Charr, Sylvari
Thief: Human, Asura
Elementalist: Asura, Human, Sylvari
Mesmer: Human, Asura, Sylvari
Necromancer: Human, Asura, Sylvari
Humans do tend to suit every profession in every game.
I think Charr look better in bulky armor and look a little silly with a tiny wand or staff.
Sylvari fit nature and spellcasting (as they are elfish).
Asura suit spellcasting and thief, because the little guys always do. They also suit engineer because the smaller guys are always more inteligent right? Engineer also suits the lore for them as they are the technological ones.
Norn are obvious fighters, and seem too musclular to be rangers to me.
My first toon is Sylvari Thief.Don't really care what it looks like too much lol

I personally love the idea of a Sylvari Mesmer or Guardian. For me they just seem to fit the class better then anyone
Norn are not big, stupid, bash-things-on-the-head giants. They appreciate individual superior skill in any subject to be something worthy of song, whether that is magic, leadership, beer drinking or fist fighting. The one thing they look down upon are engineers, at least in Edge of Destiny, since engineers make use of something other than themselves (such as turrets and automated guns or in the case of Asura golems) to overcome a challenge.
It's the Charr that have more trouble with spell casters, given their history with the Flame Legion and all that. Although the Charr do see a use for magic, being the pragmatists that they are.
Sylvary Earth elementalist, obvious and elegant.
Charr actually look down on Guardians, even more than on other spell casters. Also, the Charr invented the Engineer profession. The asura do not use Engineer-like tech a lot, since the Engineer is based on clockwork while the Asura work with magic.
On Norn and Rangers, I think they fit together like... Charr and Engineers really. Norn are really one with nature, with their spirits and all that (seriously, look up their wolf spirit), and hunting is in their blood.

Oh yeah, I know that they make sense lore wise, except what i said about the Asura engineer (I've yet to do the asura part of GW1). That list was based on purely how they look.

generally, crafty = Asura, big protector/brute type = Norn, caster/medium armor = Sylvari

Norn: Warrior, Guardian, Engineer, Mesmer
Charr: Warrior, Engineer, Ranger
Sylvarri: Thief, Necro, Ranger, Mesmer
Asura: Elementalist, Necro, Thief (I've also gotta say guardian, cause they really do look like mega man)
