No, bought the standard version.
Never will buy it. I have no problem with it as I think its a fine collectors edition but I never buy collectors editions typically anyways, and while I dont believe this one to be overpriced, it is expensive.
I do intend to buy GW2 though. At some point in the future. I'll either shill out for the regular or deluxe edition. Probably the regular plain old edition as thats what I typically do.
I bought two collector's editions to hold onto and the DD Edition to play. Hopefully, the two Collector's Editions end up as wise investments.

It was quite expensive. But I was also surprised to find out that a lot of countries had it already sold out. I bought mine in the evening today in the US. Wonder which countries sold out.
May i ask why you bought TWO collectors editoins?
I will buy the regular digital version on a leter date, hopefully when I actualy know the official release date of the game.
Maybe they like to have 1 unopened copy for the collecting part and 1 for playing.
I did. I want the art, and I'm going to attempt to get the prints signed.
Did not buy CE. Nor the game in any form. The future is too clouded. And so I wait.
...Then maybe will get the standard.
Paid in FULL at Gamestop when they first opened. Arenanet didn't send out beta codes had to come back in the afternoon. Didn't need to do a refund or anything for Beta Key just printed mine out when I came back. Luckly I have like 3 less than 5 miles away so now worries about availbility. Most of the slip up was on Arenanet side because the manager didn't get an email about it till noon. It all worked out so I'm Happy!
Haha yeah and they can pass it down as a family heirloom. :-)
In case there isn't a purchasable, physical copy of Jeremy Soule's soundtrack. Then I'll open one of them.

Yeah me too. Unless there's an early access, in which I will buy it a couple days before that. I think I still have 65$ left from trading in games last time I went, so that could definately go towards this or Tera.
If you pre-purchase the game, you get a three day headstart acess plus all betas. Pretty good deal to me.

In this day and age, pre-ordering an MMO is like investing in a child's drug addiction. 9/10, it doesn't end well.
So since I got the 200$ lifetime for TSW, why the hell not, pre-ordering digital edition of GW2.
Played - M59, EQOA, EQ, EQ2, PS, SWG[Favorite], DAoC, UO, RS, MXO, CoH/CoV, TR, FFXI, FoM, WoW, Eve, Rift, SWTOR, TSW.
Playing - PS2, AoW, GW2
Didn't buy it and never will buy another CE game. Bought my 1st and last one when Aion came out, it was a fine edition but I'm way too old to be doing that.
Got it. $150 is a bit much for me, but this would be the first game I was excited for that I DIDNT get the CE for, and I am 10x more excited about this than any other game, so I decided I was just going to bite the bullet.
No regrets.
