Crazy, for me on amazon.com and Ebay.com they are both $250 US, same as astro's... That is why i'm confused haha. I don't remember the price of Trittons, but a lot of my friends really like them, might be another set to look at.
The "Youtube Pro": Someone who watches video's on said subject, and obviously has a full understanding of what is being said about such subject.
Great quality (micro and drivers), durable, noise reduction, light. No need to spend nearby 150€ to get a great headset unless you drop money rolls instead of deuces (and even then it'd probably be a bad call, might as well get the A40's).
Free shipping also, and they include a USB soundcard so they'll have great sound even with laptops.
I have owned Tritton-Astro A40&A30-Sharkoon-SteelSeries-Medusa-Icemat over the years and I always considered the Astro A40 to have the clearest sound, but weak on the bass. For me the Astro A30 had the best balance between clarity and bass (until now) but the fixed mic was annoying along with the inline controls. What sets these apart from many other so called top of the range headsets isnt just the excellent sound but the design. Muting makes sense and is simple, simply raise the mic! genius! Want more volume? Just turn the dial on the side of the right cup! Again simple and instinctive no faffing around with and inline control. Another plus for not having inline controls is that there is less weight which ive found on other headsets can lead to one side of the headset dragging down....annoying!
Moving onto the sound these are as good (and in some cases superior) to anything else on the market but to get the most from them you will need a top quality sound card properly configured. If i had to pick a negative it is the open back design which allows external sound and sound leakage but if you play in a quiet environment then it's not an issue. If your thinking of going to a LAN you may want to look at the PC350 instead.
Ok i will buy the sennheiser 360 :P thank you all
I saw the reviews on amazon and this is the one.

I've the Sennheiser 350 for a while now if the 360 version is better than I can recommend for sure.
My wife has the Corsair Vengance 1500 which are also nice on the head
I had a Logitech G35 Headset for a good 2 years now. Nice 7.1 channel, comfy ear muff and I like the mic. Paid about 100$ for it If I remember correctly. Well continue using it for years to come... if it don't die of course.
Sennheiser are overall good headsets. They're durable & very comfortable. Upper end logitech is also pretty good as well.

I have....... and please don't laugh oO....... (I have Multiple systems and PC's so ended up getting different headsets at different times for them)
Logitech G35
Turtle Beach MW3 Ear Force Delta
Astro A40
Razer Tiamat 7.1
All in all the cheapest pair is the Logictech G35's and oddly enough it's the set I use the most. Being able to program the buttons on the side to do different things like Open winamp, play next song, etc. while in game has been nice. They are also the ones that fit my head the best. Sounds good and Mics good. I don't dislike my other sets, the G35's are just my favorite.
The truth may be puzzling. It may take some work to grapple with. It may be counterintuitive. It may contradict deeply held prejudices. It may not be consonant with what we desperately want to be true. But our preferences do not determine what's true.
This is the kinda thread I like to see. Instead of bikering about price, cash shop, and imperfections of GW2, we should transform these forums into the community coming together to make the upcoming GW2 gaming marathons as awsome as possible!
Answer the OP's question, I use a Turtle Beach headset. It's a corded one though which I prefer because I'm sick of buying batteries. And the rechargable ones seem to suck for me, even the expensive ones >_>. I got it for my Xbox but it converts easily.
It's pretty cheap at 60 dollars. Sound quality is great, the microphone is great, i've heard many compliments on the quality of my voice through the microphone so I'm convinced. But yeah it's not the most expensive or best one, but it's definetly high quality for the price. And you really don't need a 250 dollar headset when there are great headsets at a much cheaper price. If your like me, a college student who is struggling financially, the cheaper headset is what you might be interested in.
So i want to buy a gaming headset i heard Sennheiser Pc 360 is really good i want them to be as much reliable, comfortable and with a really good sound as possible, also i want the microphone to be great cause must of the headsets i had lots of problems with the microphone, with feedback not hearing well the other people etc etc...
So i was thinking you guys could help me out , tell me what should i buy and its price and the reason.
I went through something on the order of 6 or 7 head sets since 2004 when I first started using them with WoW and every time I bought a nice high priced version from either BestBuy or another electronics retailer (even bought a pair of $120.00 pair made by Razr) all told I never spent less then $50.00 for any set but every single set would break within a year. It always started (every single set) with the noise going out on the left side. I figured it was because of constantly moving the Mic up and down. Well a friend told me about a pair of Microsoft Silverlight's he uses and so I went with it, they were relatively cheap compared to the others at around $30.00. I have had those same pair of headsets since Jan 2011. They continue to work great and have not noticed one problem with them. So if you are looking for something on a budget that will last, especially with heavy use. I would recomend them.

I've been through countless pairs of headsets, 2x Creative WoW wireless headsets...one pair snapped in half just pulling them apart to put on my head after only a month. Corded headsets wires get ran over or the wire at the plug ends up getting worn out and has a spotty connection.
+1 on the Logitech G930 headset, wireless is great, good battery life, no static or dropouts, and can recharge while wearing. You can also queue vent when on the can for the lolz. Would also recommend the G35.
Also, none of the headsets you buy are true 7.1 Surround, its all simulated garbage.
There are really only three headsets I would recommend, I sadly have yet to get my hands on a decent set of True 5.1 Seinheiser's.
1. The Logitech G35 . It's not True surround sound, so the quality will be a touch lacking compared to True 5.1 systems. For the money its easily the best purchase. I've never had a G35 fail on me or any of my mates who own one.
2. The Triton Ax Pro 5.1 : An equally nice headset, the sound quality is much better than the G35's. The only thing lacking on these sets are the build quality. Alot of the materials feel flimsy and break. There is also an issue with the Mic's something like 1/10 are Doa. If the price on this set was substantially lower it would easily take first.
3. The Roccat Kave 5.1 : Theres a review up on these very forums, needless to say I mirror his review and am very pleased with my Roccat headset. It's now my primary set and replaces the Triton, at a superior quality.
------------
I would steer clear of ANY of the Turtle beach headsets which are driven via Usb and marketed for Consoles AND Pc. I tried three different models and every one was horrible. I would also avoid the Razer Megladon ... over priced and poor quality.
They've only been out a couple of months, so I couldn't find many reviews, but the ones I did find were very favorable so I gave them a shot.
I love them. I have a rather big melon, and I can wear these for hours with very little discomfort. Virtual 7.1 surround sound is amazingly good. Very good microphone as well. They're lightweight, cloth earcups are very comfy. Replaced a pair of Logitech G930 (sounded good, but were too heavy, and the wireless was interfering with my WiFi and my wireless mouse). I had also tried the new Corsair Vengeance 1500 headset, which were VERY uncomfortable for my head (too tight... gave me a headache after less than an hour of wear).
My only gripe is the relatively short cable.... it's only 6.5 feet, which with my desk does not leave much wiggle room. I just bought a 1 meter USB extender cable and was good to go.
Never argue with an idiot. He will drag you down to his level, then beat you with experience.
Fairly tight fit on my head but i like the way they close out sounds, if you play a game like WoW i don't even use them but for a game like Thief having good sound is very useful.
The mic is retractable which is something i like a lot, rarely use it so don't wan't something in my face all the time,
there is also a version that does not some with the usb soundcard which is bit cheaper just below $100
they feel bit fragile but so far no problems, used to have the steelseries 5H that felt bit more robust.
So i want to buy a gaming headset i heard Sennheiser Pc 360 is really good i want them to be as much reliable, comfortable and with a really good sound as possible, also i want the microphone to be great cause must of the headsets i had lots of problems with the microphone, with feedback not hearing well the other people etc etc...

the main issue is that i use glasses and it hurts most of headsets when i play for hours.
