    US SERVER: MAGUUMA

    EU SERVER: ISTAN

     

    Spred the word.

     

    PS - I need someone in EU to volunteer to make the MMORPG.COM guild on Istan asap on friday, and post the fact that it's made and their contact in game here so others can start joining!

    Once I've created the US Guild on Maguuma, I'll post in the first post in this thread so you guys can add me in game and get an invite into the guild. :)

    Keep in mind the guild isn't going to exist possibly for a few hours after beta launched so, be patient.  Make your characters.   Have fun.  Check the first post in this thread.

    Eventually, you'll see my character name most likely just as 'Deacon'

    Cheers!  Really looking forward to seeing how this pans out :D and thanks to everyone in the community for being so great.

    Awesome was just about to post server lists too.

    All downloaded and installed managed to download the client at 14/15mb/s so did not take long at all.

    This is great news to have confirmation.

    So, there won't be any Asian servers so I'm free to join the US servers. No more need for me to setup the guild for the Asian server.

    Now I wonder what profession I should start off with for the first ever login. =]

    Back again with the current faction list. This is all very likely to change by the second BWE.

    • Sea of Sorrows - Something Awful (Goons), Oceanic (according to GW2Guru)

    Remember, your server is your faction in WvW. Choose carefully with whom you align.

    I'm hoping that someone can convince GW2Guru and Reddit to play on different servers. I haven't an account on either. Breaking them apart would be good for server populations and WvW rivalries.

    Incidentally, the information I had previously provided is no longer correct.

    As in we get to repick our home world because our chars will be wiped and we will have to pick our home world again? This is cuz I need to join an Oceanic server after release, but would like to join MMORPG's server for this BWE and the rest of the beta. =]

    I've added you here.  Once I set things up Friday evening, I'll post here in the FIRST post of this thread and you'll know what character name to contact for an invite in game.  Likely 'Deacon'.

    Good info - cool to see the other communities :) I may have to consider Tarnished Coast for my guild.

    It might, though likely not with me - I'll probably stay a member but I'll be quite busy getting my own guild up and running and such [ CRUSADERS: Band of the Hawk ]
