Anyone else unable to log in? Really annoying...

So I've tried entering my email & password as well as my Guild Wars 2 userID and password. Keeps failing. Tried using the password reset with my email address that I registered with my preorder and it just says "Failed".
Anyone else having these issues? Really frustrating.

Yes. I went through the same thing. I got an e-mail saying my password had been reset. However it says reset failed on the webpage given to do it.
Can't login and can't reset password. Plus you cna tell their servers are getting slam by how long it takes the webpage to respond.
I'm trying to patch and actually install the game and cannot. I get some kind of error message.BTW I stil haven't gotten my email announcing the client address. I found it here and Dl'd it.So..seems lots of things are jammed.I think it's good they are learning what they can expect in June.Just a bit frustrating for those who would like to know they were all set.
Is there a patch after the DL ???
I got a note saying I was all set till the beta starts ?
ya i'm having the same problem. ANET must be getting pummeled right now, so I'm not worried about it...yet.

Ya nothing is wrong with ur account , its just that the Website is getting Hit hard right now. i myself panic a bit because both my account was not working so i changed my password . but still not working lol

Getting a failed login as well. Keeps saying my username/password are incorrect. Then says "failed" when I try to reset the password.

My concern is I've had this issue the past couple days when trying to login. It goes automatically to Fail and not even able to submit my email to get a password reset...
I wouldn't try resetting passwords or anything right now. It may make things worse!
When I registered I used my GW1 information and that is what I'm using to login to GW2 if that helps anyone.
Death is nothing to us, since when we are, Death has not come, and when death has come, we are not.
If you linked it to a GW1 account/NCSOFT account then make sure to use that instead.

I was able to log into the Guild Wars 2 client. My screen went black, and there was a video of Mike Morhaime pleading, "Please don't go. Please don't" on loop.

I had some problem today to login, then i notice that the email field is case sensitive, check if maybe you capitalize the first letter of your email.
I'd agree with this... give it the night for the dust to settle a little and try tomorrow. If that's still an issue, hit ArenaNet up on their Twitter (seems to get noticed quickly) and they should hop on it. They want this to be a huge success, so they won't let things fall apart.

This is truly annoying. Was so happy after I got the double billing taken care of and now this blunder. I enter everthing in and it just resets the screen. Maybe they should have staggered the release of the emails.
I'm having problems too, the email address they used to send me the beta invitation confirmation email, is NOT the email address that I used to register...apparently. I tried forever to log in using that email when it was another one of my emails, i have no idea why that is.
Also even using the correct email address, my password keeps failing, and I have to reset it everytime i want to login. big pain in the ass, and when i finally log in using the reset server, the download client is still not available, dunno whats going on, hope they fix it in 72 hours.

Glad I saw this thread because for the past 20 minutes I was thinking it was something I was doing wrong. I guess I'll just finish the download and wait until tomorrow to try to log in again.

Same probs here. Did the reset pwd. fails onsite but confirmation email sent.
Did finally get the new password to work but sent to a page asking for old pwd and then reconfirm new.
That all failed.
Now cant log in at all to use the email/pwd combine that last worked and it just resets page and blanks all fields.
gw2 is vapourware from what I can tell so far ;p
Just wanted to say I had the same problem but then I realized that if you linked a Guild Wars 1 account then you use that email to log in. I had set a different email up for this game but my password and account name were never recognized. But even when I log in correctly it still just resets the screen (without the error message though).
Just launched it and it patched and gave me no beta event currently running error and wait for next event.
Looking all good so far. Just gotta wait.

I had the same issue. It would give me the failure message. After a while it would let me log in but if I clicked forums it would give me an error message.
I don't know if they fixed something or what but I logged off my account using Firefox. Started IE and started trying to log in using this link, https://account.guildwars2.com/login. After about 30 minutes it finally logged in and I was able to click the forums page.
Funny thing is when I was tring to log in, if I entered the right info it would just reset, no message or anything, but if I entered in the wrong password on purpose it would give me the failure message.
When I was able to login to the accounts page successfully, I clicked the forums tab with no errors in IE, then I clicked "Getting Started" then click the "executable file" link to download the exe.
I am now patching

I continue to have the same kind of problems noted above. Heck ...I haven't even got an email notifying me of the DL files. I did get an email saying to register(which had already done) and this was confirmed when I tryed to register again.So.....frustrating.I hope to straighten this out tomorrow. I hope this is a learning experience for the company.
I got the email, clicked on the link, went to the page, typed in my email and password correctly, the site only blinked for a second and both fields were empty again.
I waited a bit but nothing happened so I retried the whole procedure and again nothing happened.
So I tried a different password and noticed that a captcha also popped up indicating that I tried to login too often.
I filled out the captcha too and then it popped up that my password is incorrect or my account suspended (which was ok since I typed a wrong password by cause to see if anything different happens).
So I retyped my normal data and the same thing happened again.... the site blinks for a second, the fields are getting reset and that's it.
HATE IT! -.-
