Is it just me or this has surpassed fanboyism by now?
Seriously, these threads and posts about how great the login screen (really? I mean, it's cool, but it's just a login screen), the entry music, and maybe next will come how ingenious the gw2.exe file name is, or how awesome is the compression algorithm in the gw2.dat file.
I know I'm excited for the beta weekend as well, but damn, some of these posts look worse than pre-teenagers babbling about their first love xD.

WOW some of you people are getting way way too excited about this.. I really do hope you guys dont get too depressed when you actually get to play the game hahaha.. remember its just a game its not the second coming of baby jesus the zombie..
No its the second coming of raptor jesus. Get it right. But seriously...It's mostly just joking around. Sure I'm excited and all and i think the login screen is realy cool (I have it running in the background. lol) But when it boils down to it i just want to play the damn thing already! Disappointed or not...I just want it in my hands!
Its like getting a shot. Whether you like needles or not, or whether or not you think it will hurt you just want it to be over with so you can know "did it hurt?" and if it didnt then youre happy. If it did then youre angry for the next few hours because it feels like theres arock in your arm where they jabbed that terrible pointy thing into you.

Woke up this morning to the guild wars 2 theme fanfareing throughout my room at full blast. Head pops off my pillow and i look over to my monitor to behold the all mighty gw2 login screen flowing onscreen. By what sorcery this awesomeness was bestowed upon me, i know not. But when the flood gates open...and we are permitted to engage ourselves in this fantasy world... the fapping will be immense.
But seriously. Finished downloading sometime early this morning. Started it and passed out. Looks like a sweet login screen. Nothing over the top or crazy or so epic that it uses more cpu and gpu power than the game itself. Pretty excited for this weekend
There are certainly worse ways to wake up. Congrats on getting everything ready.

There is cake...cake and much much more. Also there are women in bunny suits and Gentlemen with monocles and top hats. You must refer to every third gentlemen as sir or "my good man". It rains confetti from the ceiling 'round the clock and the floor is actually a fish tank. Look down, Yeah, thats a great white swimming down there...And don't think about using the restroom. You must RSVP to Pee and the waiting list is quite lengthy. The red carpet is for VIP guests only. That means those with aligator leather shoes must walk on the left side of the carpet only!....

Just waking up in the morning gotta thank god. I don't know but today seems kind odd. No barking from the dogs, no smog. And Anet let me download GW2 without probs.
Got a lan on Friday to saturday (beta is 5am saturday my time) so ill be playign some games i think ill acualy go to sleep for a 4 hour around 12 and get up at 4:30 rdy to play.
