I've nothing against it being re-released for PC. It's an amazing game. WTF is this character booster thing though? Just looks like godmode built into the game... big ol' CHEAT button. Stupid.

I don't suffer from insanity, I enjoy every minute of it.

This seems like it's just going to be a port for Steam version, and as others have said FF7 released on PC probably a decade ago.

Having said that, there's a number of FF7 graphical mods, some of which replace the models with high resolution versions both on the combat field and world.

They're not perfect being user made and all, but they may be worth checking out if you decide to get this ^^

You can already mod the PC version of FFVII to look pretty darn good:

FF8 is also on the PC. I actually played it quite a bit when I was younger and had no problems with it that I can remember.

Yeah umm, no thanks. Call me when they decide to actually put some effort into a proper HD remake instead of a bare-bones cash grab to save their sorry asses.

    "Cloud saves"

I found that to be somewhat ironic.

I used to have 7 and 8 for PC. They worked perfectly, and looked significantly better than the PS1 counterpart.

FF7 would have made the most epic MMO in history. it had all the back story for it and the villain already the most epic in gaming history.

yeah this was done for PC way back.

Heh , FF14 is that much of a failure that we need to see a FF7 on PC? Seriously though , who the hell doesn't already have it via emulator / rom?   Honestly, hehe. :)

No, the graphics wont be the best.

No, its not a HD remake.

Yes, it was on PC a long, long time ago that never worked properly nor would it work on todays PC's. I know this because I have it and it hasnt worked at all since windows XP.

This site is really becomming a cesspool of complete idiots that just want to complain about anything and everything. It was bad before but its just terrible now.

Hey look, a guy complaining about the complainers. Irony much? The reason people are complaining is its just a port of the game and they are charging something like $12? While I do find the idea of it coming to PC to be a wonderful thing, FFVII has not aged well. Just wait til people actually play it again. It will be nothing but complaints about how bad the game looks. Is it really that much to ask that they at least update the graphics? By your analysis, it would be us just complaining.
