to keeping everyone in the dark by deleting the dark and light beta thread which basically outlines all the testers saying it's worthless.. It was no NDA break there at all. They were posting their "OPINIONS" about it.
But why should I give a crap about people wasting their $. Fools are soon parted with their $ I suppose anyway.

Reposting messages from the beta boards is a breach of the NDA. Posting such messages is thus against our TOS.

I wish to make sure I am correct in my assumption as follows then:
MMORPG.com takes the stance that is someone agrees to an NDA - they are not going to allow them to break the NDA while on this site?

Sorry - I never read TOS's they are really long, drawn out, boring and have no pictures - but if that is in there - that is fantastic.

I found this comment particularly amusing. You obviously give a crap (way too much, many would no doubt say), which is why you constantly spam every thread on this board with your highly detailed one-sentence bash posts.
Think about this: No amount of spamming you can do is going to convince people that are fans of this game to dislike it. It's just not going to happen. You might be able to see the train wreck that this game is going to become upon release, as can I, but everyone is just going to have to find out for themselves. You're not pulling anyone over to your side here, you're just making enemies.
I have a gut feeling that people will learn the sad truth of this game come November, but until then just stop the spamming. As someone who in general principle agrees with you, even I find it annoying.

I am sure there are more than a few that would love to point the finger at me for this one whatever it was, although I am assuming someone posted a beta board thread like they did a couple of weeks ago. I hate to disappoint but this is my one and only login here.
Anyway as I posted the other day I am through with my preaching, hopefully I won't be posting in this forum again until a few days after launch when I will either be saying "Pass the salt please, this crow is sure tasty" or I will be laughing uncontrollably at the poor suckers who wasted their money.
Now back to the regularly scheduled "This game Rulz" and screenshots of a world which causes me to wet my shorts posts.
I miss DAoC
Dont call people suckers because they want to try it out for a month. If they want to try it and use a bit of money for it then its their choice, dont be an ahole like Ukraina, you can still be forgiven for your sins
i dont mind your opinion but when you bash people for willing to try the game when it releases (such as I) it kind of puts a damp hammer on me at full force
really. its not like most people have to break the piggie bank to try a game for a month.
we live in a world where $100 gets you 4 hours of a drunken stuper you cant remeber, a severe hangover, and if your lucky a fat chick waking up next to you and you think your doing gods work by saving someone 15 bucks for ~a month of gameplay, be it good or bad.
Do what ya want boyz and girlz, more than one of us have tried to warn that the stove is hot so go ahead and touch it if you must to find out. I would reccomend using a pre paid card or paypal though, just in case, can't be too careful with those credit card numbers now can we ?
Oh and ful I never drank and quit smoking tobbaco years ago and overweight chicks need a little loving fun also

If the game is fun, all you have done is layed down a bummer on the games chances and on this forum, if the game is sad, all you have done is taken some of the fun of a positive communty away and the fun expectation away, so for a very short time we are not quite as disapointed and/or we save a few lousy bucks... not worth the grief.
Letting people have fun with the lead up is part of the expeirence, you just took that away from many I bet. And don't give us the same old BS of saving people from the big bad World of gaming crap!

You are absolutely priceless Blacksac , it wasn't but a few months ago that you, Inferno and I were over on the Mourning sites preaching exactly the same message there that I was here. Actually I sort of remember you and Inferno were coming right out and calling the game a scam and a ripoff while I was cautioning people to give it a few days just like I am here. Guess the shoe fits a bit different when it is your MMO that is being questioned.
As far as killing the games chances I think once you discount the obvious alternates there are only a half dozen of us that even bother reading this forum anymore. Two other general game forums I even mentioned DnL on back when the Devs announced their piad beta plan recieved replies such as "Oh yeah DnL what ever happened to that game" and worse replies . Quite frankly other than the diehards over on the official site I don't think much of anyone really gives a damn anymore one wy or the other. I think a lot of the beta testers have given their friends and families beta testimonials and word has gotten around if you know what I mean.
What is really funny to me is that I really don't consider my posts bashes. Why is cautioning people to wait and see what the post release forums/reviews say a bash? That is unless you have so little faith that you think that word of mouth will kill any sales after the first day or so. Anyway like I said I won't even bother posting on this forum again unless it is a reply in this thread, so if you don't want me to post anymore "bashes" here simply let this thread die a peaceful death.
By the way on the poll up there I voted no cause I really don't think anyone cares one way or the other anymore. Those who are gong to buy on release day will do so no matter what, and the rest of us are content to let them be the guinea pigs

You must have me confused with someone else, that wasn't me.
Jackdog, the stupid thing is I actually agree with you on some points, such as the "wait and see", don't just buy it, but wait a week or month and see the reviews, but I don't agree with your style of delivery. It hurts the game, and sets a bad atmosphere in the community.
I come for the recreation not the preaching.

In my opinion, the fact that people will be out 50-60 bucks for some software that might not be up to snuff is not the problem. As many have said on here, paying that for a game, whether the game itself is good or bad, is just a drop in the bucket.
Where I see the problem is that if you shell out that money for a half-finished product, you're basically showing the suits in charge (or whomever makes the call to release the game on X date) that they can release an unfinished game, and people will still buy it. It justifies that decision; it gives them no incentive to do things differently later on with say expansions, etc.
That's where I think the problem lies, in a nutshell.
Well, anyone thats even viewing this forum has some type of interest in Dark and Light, thats simply a given. People that try to sway another players positive attention into negative views likely have an alterative motive and for the most part are shruged off by DnLs fanbase.. THe majority of people that are giving DnL negative feedback and spending allot of time doing so are probably being paid to do so- IE work for another gaming company. That or they are seriously bored deranged hardcore EQ players that are afraid the playerbase is going to dwindle into a non existent number. I could see if this game was released and people began to express concerns on a daily basis but cmon the game isn't even out yet.... People are on some righteous quest to save the mmorpg community from this big bad evil game without having any in-game experience what so ever and should be viewed as complete asses, aka Ukraina.
It's called ETHICS and DnL has none for releasing something pay to play 6 months befire it could even be taken by stores.
and the people who support it are just contributing to the problem.
but in the end it doesn't really matter because if even half of what was said in the beta thread posted here is true; they wont even have anyone left playing it after the first month of pay to download...
do you know that out of currently 3,000 tester spots there is only like 300-500 that actually log in?
people do not pay to test unfinished products..

That break took quotes out of content for what they were ment to be stuck them togher and posted but hey if your not gonna buy the game why did you post in 3 different threads bashing it.

I don't think theres an mmorpg being made in existance that would be scared of this overhyped junk.
theres zero gameplay and the graphics look borderline Shadowbane..

the "hard core" players are in fact people willing to pay to play DnL before at least 30% of the listed features will be in. Carefully reading the public forums you can figure out what will be there and waht will not.

10 realms (only 3 at start)
Updates will be added as time goes on and they expect to have these items in by May when the box set is released. This is not a paid beta, but will not be DnL as featured on the public forums. Sadly this type of release is never good for the well being of a game, but even WoW didnt have all its listed features
