lol yea performance has been better in these last two stress tests.. also no login issues or kicks so far in this stress test:)

I angered the clerk in a clothing shop today. She asked me what size I was and I said actual, because I am not to scale. I like vending machines 'cause snacks are better when they fall. If I buy a candy bar at a store, oftentimes, I will drop it... so that it achieves its maximum flavor potential. --Mitch Hedberg

I was able to crank the graphics settings to max and have about 50fps on average. I'm a happy camper :)

WWWWAAAAAAAAAAA!!!!!!!!  It keeps kicking me off!  Boohoo for me!!!!

OK, I'm in!!!!  Except that my character is apparently stuck in the BWE3 finale (error 19)....so that means I can't play him.  Too bad, I was starting to love that little guy.  Oh well, it's not like I was going to be able to keep him any way.  Back to the game!

You want me to pay to play a game I already paid for???

    Be afraid.....The dragons are HERE!

Yeah, I was getting error 900 repeatedly when trying to log in.  Made me worried my account had somehow been compromised, since it was giving me incorrect password when trying to get into my account page on their website.  After a few minutes though I was able to enter my account page and the patcher log-in worked too.  Maybe they were stressing the authentication server.

I got in.  They warned us it might be laggy - and they were right.  I'm getting 5-10 second delays when I do something.  I'm going to log off for now, I can't enjoy lag.

The "rubber banding" is really frequent this stress test, it was almost impossible to play a SPvP match.  They're really pushing the servers apparently.

my friend was getting lag on his server(Jade Quarry) he deleted his chars and made one on my server Sanctum of Rall and is lag free.. so seems some servers are having some lag

I dont know if anyone has had this experience; When I go to the lvl 5-15 asura zone, and to the Obscura Incline, I get the strangest graphic glitches. The toon Im playing with is quite highlevel, and I have not experienced the issue in any of the other areas, across human, norn, charr and sylvari.

What happens is on a certain camera slant, the ground will dissappear, as will mobs and my own toon and I see no landscape, just a clear plane. - If I turn on npc names etc I see those, - but the ground and the mob graphic wont appear unless I slant the angle on the camera again.

I am not sure what causes this. Its singular, for me anyway, to the asura area, and over 40 levels on this toon, I only experienced it there. - I also only went there this stress test, and while I did play in the gendarren fields, and also in kessex hills, I only saw this on the Obscura plain, which I left because it gave me a headache.

I have the latest drivers and my gfx card is a Radeon 7970HD - I also bug reported it with several screenshots to show both with and without the glitch.

Anyone else seen this on their playthrough tonight?

yup same issue I put in bug reports with screenshots as well.. never had this issue in any beta weekends so hopefully it has to do with how they are working on the game while we test it. But be sure to send it a bug report about it

Had a really good couple of hours today.

No lag, performance seemed improved again (strictly played on the kessex hills area).

I'm in the Fissure of Woe server by the way, so maybe not many people considering the stress hour (loads of italians in the server).

    Currently playing: GW2
Going cardboard starter kit: Ticket to ride, Pandemic, Carcassonne, Dominion, 7 Wonders

probably but also no way to really know what they were doing while people were playing

    Stress Test - I think I failed.

Revisited Thief, it's much more fun than I remember.

    Shortbow explosions, I like.

    F1 steal? not so sure.

Rubberbanding.  Jumping puzzles.  Sylvari 1-15 map.

    Falling to my death.

they said in the forum that they have a problem with there connection on the north america data center so that is why people have rubberbanding. I guess that in EU they do not have this problem.

Unlike the BW3's Anet warned stress testers to expect plenty of problems.

I doubt it was a  failue, I imagine they wanted the servers with lots of people on them and then they messed around with various network and server parameters to see which would cause the worst disruption and things like the incredible lag seen tonight.

It is critical that they find out before launch precisely what conditions will bring out the things like lag.

If I remember correctly Anet had also talked about increasing the population caps in WvW.  Perhaps they did that and found out via the super lag that increasing the cap is not going to perform well.

Now they have some pretty clear numbers on what to avoid and what to prioritize in thier optimization attempts.

Personally inspite of the slide show quality lag, I thought the graphics looked much better, and I did not change any graphic settings at my end from previous times  in the game.  Maybe they were making adjustments to the graphic filters, things didn't look as washed out as they did previously, colors seemed a little brighter.

Or it could be that I was just so glad to be back in the game, I imagined it looked better.  It won't be that much longer. :-)

Yeah there was something wrong with their internet connection. I bet there will be another stress test for the NA audience next week, and hopefully no other problems will interfere with the testing.
