you're point is invalid. for you're information i haven't resubbed in about 2 years. and don't plan to or even want to look at WoW ever again. don't mind me i just like to rub it in peoples faces who think they are 'right' about something.

There is an MMO that's around 9 years old, still growing in subscribers, and still gets two expansions per year (included in sub fee).

I haven't played since burning crusade.

Yep, as one of the Million, I disagree. I'm not subbed to any mmo and haven't been for roughly 6 months. I came back to WoW after skipping the lich king expansion only to see the features MoP. I will pass on Panda's and wait for a new mmo that is worth playing. The only way ill go back to WoW is if they release an expansion worth playing and I get MoP upgrade for free. I just cant see myself paying to play for this content.

I do not get excited for the release of any mmo and will wait for guild wars 2 reviews of feedback of end game content. Im looking long term for a game to play not a box sale game with limited vision. GW2 may or may not be that game. At this point only time will tell. Until then I will watch and wait patiently.

Have fun with MoP.  Ill take a /pass and vote with my wallet.

Sorry buddy, GW2 is my new home now.

You say this now, but I can almost gaurentee you will sub back to WoW eventually.

How do you know this? Did you ask them?

Asking me to go back to WoW is like convincing an FPS player to go back to DukeNukem3D.

    Not going to happen.

    I've tried WoW several times.

Though I think it's a good game I've never been able to get my main character out of the 30's. This is a charcter I made at launch. I can see why people like it but it's not for me.

I can say with total confidence I will never go back to wow. The last time I tried playing, I felt like someone had asked me to clean their elderly parents arse.

I don't have anything against WOW, just sooo tired of it..same ole gear grind...

If blizzard paid me say $20 an hr I might think about it if they offered me a lifetime sub and $1,000,000 I might think about it till then no thanks been there done that and didnt have fun except for getting to 80 after that it was boring.

  • Since I've been waiting for Pandarens since launc I'm definitely checking out MoP. Will probably get to max level on a Pandaren Monk, play for a bit, find myself getting bored as it's the same old same old then quit.

Nope, I finally wore it out. For the first time, I didn't buy a WoW xpac and I won't. Kinda sad, really.

Duke Nukem 3D is way better than some of the crap FPS games youget these days. So yes. Going to happen. Has happened, in fact.

What a very reasonable offer.  I think Blizzard should jump on that right now!

True enough, i know for me at least, i'll be getting MoP, in spite of the whole panda debacle tbh, i'll most likely play it for 2 or 3 months, and then let subs lapse again, or i might stay longer, my main game is really Eve, anything else i play is usually just casual, and thats about the most you can hope for with WoW, besides, by the time MoP comes out i'll probably have finished with SW;TOR, until they bring out something new there too at least. image

2 years clean and counting. I will never go back, there is nothing to go back to with my guild not there.

Have not logged in since BC. MoP is even less appealing than WotLK.
  • KenFisherKenFisher Member UncommonPosts: 5,035

For me the draw is nostalgia.  Unfortunately with each expansion and it's included "improvements" Blizzard gradually destroys the appeal the game used to hold for me.  Their game, their choice.  Mine is to sit on the sidelines until something happens that makes it interesting again, if ever.

My name is Laserit.... and I am a WoW addict....

Na I wont be buying it this time. I bought Cata and ended up completely disapointed, the game just isnt for me anymore.

Although if I start reading hundreds of threads about how awesome it is, I'll more then likley jump in to see what all the talk is about.

Keep dreaming pal, I had my fill of WoW years ago and have zero intention of returning. If I ever do want to play that style of game for a bit, any one of the dozens of FREE clones works just fine.

    Where's the any key?

I'll admit it.  There's two games I always seem to fall back into.  DAoC for rvr and WoW for pve.
