I see no reason why anyone would want the game to fail, let alone talk about as if its doom is certain. Why are people so determined to see a game that might just bring a great deal of joy to lots of people fail?
Criticism is always welcome, even fanbois should think so, and if not I pity them, but lately there’s been miles between threads with actual meaning. Instead there are groups of people who would rather see this game crash and burn before anyone can enjoy it.. And I simply don’t understand why? So instead of inviting more of these people to spread more hate and unnecessary discord?
Why can’t we just allow some people to enjoy their game? Why must we try to ruin their experience? Fail is a word I’ve come to loathe, because it seems to bring with it a horde of insensitive and brainless morons...
I could go on, but I think it's pretty obvious that GW2 will fail...
to convince me otherwise.
lol nice
I angered the clerk in a clothing shop today. She asked me what size I was and I said actual, because I am not to scale. I like vending machines 'cause snacks are better when they fall. i dont think GW2 will fail.. im sure it will be a nice game for casual players since there is no sub fee. and ofc the game will be good for hardcore players aswell, wvwvw will be a goal for many big/serious guilds/clans so the game will have a big player base im sure. i personally didnt like the game, to stale in my taste.
I dont know if it will fail but i know it will have a small life-stamina duration for the role playing games fans. I mean those who value progression of their characters, since gear offer rather cosmetic-appearance only without any stats adding after lvl cap occurs.
Also the absence of well organised raiding with the appropriate loot to get is a big minor. Pvp will be good but then again i dont why someone with no attachment to his character since all lvl capped characters are exactly the same in power he would choose to play gw2 after few months instead of cod or cs.
My personal prediction is it will be great for the gw series fans a fun game for some and many many ppl ,ppl that used to play the more casual-usual mmo run after gear style wow,eq,L2,rp fans that value most the continual prggresison of their character wont bother to buy it.

So, in the end you just want to make fun of the haters, indeed this is not going anywhere good...

No game has failed, unless its offline or lost money.... Not many games have, just because a game does not have 50 million sub does not make it a failure, this crap annoys me when gamers want think games fail.
GROW UP!! make your own games! SO we can all say it failed!
PS, when a game goes free just means they will make more money , prime example DDO, and LOTR... They made more money with that model that ever before... So when gamers think a game fails when it goes F2P makes me laugh, all companys know that there is a good chance thats the model they will go to in the future. That is how the market is now if you don't think that your an idiot.
It wont fail is a B2P game, but it will have some problems after a month or so, eventually people will get bored of the DE, even worse when we will have to wait like a year fot new content. And the WvWvW wont be overpopulated forever so at some point we will find a ¨doorwars 2.0¨ battlefield. So at the end most of the GW2 playerbase will be there to play Spvp, or competitive PvP, and is ok, i bought the game mostly for that.
I don't think the game will fail. But I do think alot of people will chew through the content too fast and get burnt out on it the same way they did in TSW, TERA, SWTOR. There are just too many new games coming out nowadays that give us so many reasons to jump ship once our current game stops being super exciting. The only way we can be kept for 6 months or more is if the game has a rediculous amount of content, or if its a sandbox.

Yeah, there's a time and a place for schadenfreude, but it doesn't speak volumes about a person when they rub it in after the fact. I could have done the same thing to SWTOR fans, but it doesn't help matters, forums are already pretty vicious as it is.

It wasn't my fault, sir, please don't deactivate me. I told him not to post it, but he's faulty, malfunctioning. Kept babbling on about his mission.

Just my 2 cents.
