Listen mate, I stated an opinion, that's all. You can poke and probe it and say all you want, but it's my opinion. If you actually believe that my opinion is self centered, then that's your opinion. There was no air of superiority over anyone, if you saw it that way, then it's on you.
My opinion, that I openly admit was flowery and overdone, was merely that if people don't like a game, then just don't play it, or do something that would inspire the developers to change it. I think these guys do a good job yet I see people complaining yet still playing the game. Now you can comment on how I stated my opinion, and that's ok. I'm not going to argue over who thinks who's a grown-up or who acts like a child over an opinion.
Great.. Just great, this game already bores me to tears now because of the INSANE grind and now they just went and made it worse.. you know what? SCREW YOU Cryptic!

I dont know if im gonna laugh or cry, but i do know one thing, im going to have to start recruiting new sg members again after this, because i know alot o people will leave, just like the last time and the time before....

How come every game i find myself truly liking always end up the opposite of what it was.. Well im giving it a try, to many friends and hours spent to just quit like that, but i aint playing SWG anymore and i remember saying the same thing back before they released the CU
Well cant deny that whats a curse to some others might find a blessing, but doing it this close to the I5 nerf (wich i actually didnt find that bad), they are truly asking for trouble..
All i know im getting tired of all the changes, and there has been alot, a whole lot..

Flowery and over done is simple being used as a euphemism for condescending and superior and it was obviously (given others response) not "just my opinion." The beginning of your post was a well-stated opinion, evilfixx. That is an opinion many who enjoy different games have when someone makes statements against the game they play. It definitely has its valid points, particularly when referring to someone who is exaggerating negative aspects of game changes.
That wasn't the case here. The original post was made to inform both current and potential players of CoH that a major change was being made in the mechanics of the game. The relevant post on the subject on the official forums was linked so that any who cared to could go there and see the current players' opinions and responses to this change.
At the point where you started calling posters here whiners, you went on a personal attack. So if I were you, I wouldn't be getting all indignant about the fact that someone parodied you or your post.
If you review the original post and its replies, even the vast majority of current subscribers (those who post to the forums) consider this a "nerf" and NOT an improvement.
I wouldn't consider any single post here as "whining". I WOULD consider the posts here as statements of legitimate concern and disappointment.

I love watching people finger point rather then offer great suggestions.
Now for a suggestion to encourage enhancement diversity, they should use positive reinforcement.
Keep the system as is, but if you have 2 of the same enhancement slotted in a power, make that power drain less end...or increase defense. I'm a firm believer in positive reinforcement. They want to change the game fine...but make it so that there is a "good" reason to slot other enhancements.
**edit forgot to add that if you have 3 of the same enhancements, you lose that bonus.
Now the carrot that was given is that across the board now, players will have a 13.33 endurance reduction on all abilites. This just encourages people not to slot end reducers.
I'm all for change, making the game a bit more of a challenge. I do think they are going about the diversity wrong by using negative reinforcment.
But, this is not on test yet for me to pass final judgement...and even then, I'll wait till 1 month till after live.

Ok I'm a COH fanboi and I still love the game. I-5 didn't bother me one bit, as I didn't herd or do alot of the things that it tried to change before I-5, after I5 hit the only thing I really noticed is my Spines/inv scrapper couldn't solo 7 +3 Minions, but i still could go after 7-10 even con and come out of it ok with the use of some insperations.
As far as ED goes I am kind of dissapointed that my Scrapper will be losing even more defence but I'll have to test it to see how much it will change him, but I have a feeling that he will still be playable. I have faith that the Dev's know what they are doing and until I'm not having fun anymore I'll play.
And as far as the grind goes if you think the game is a grind then your not having fun, and I have to wonder why you are still playing this game? COH may not be for everyone just as WOW and Guild Wars weren't for me. I don't want to have to spend time finding Items to find the stuff to make me better COH it seems like the MMORPG for beginners, I like being able to log on intermtantly and have fun, not trying to kill x monsters to get a drop so my armour gets better, that I find boring. I know COV has some crafting in it and maybe I will learn to like crafting, but I highley doubt it.
And if anyone is leaving can you leave me your INF please. I can always use more

I have played eq , daoc , wow to the highest levels , I returned to coh after leaveing because of friends going to other games.I returned to coh , because I really liked it and got tired of all the JUNK you have to carry around or bank in other games<no offence i know some enjoy this , i dont>It was great comming back and flying and such , being a superhero again .Now im seeing my super hero get hit with the nerf bat over and over .Im beginning to not enjoy coh much Since I had preordered cov ill probably go ahead and try it out but honestly id rather they hadnt even made cov if its going to mean the ruin of coh .ILL try it , im willing to try, but if things keep getting worse <nerfs > I doubt il be staying
They are implimenting a Inf to Prestige converter to help build bases.
Inf (Influence/Infamy) is for your character to use for enhancements and costume changes
Prestige is for your supergroup to build and improve the base.
I think the ratio is 1mil inf = 2k prestige

I have over 200 million INF in one of my characters. My other characters has over 50 millions INF each. There really no reason for INF in CoH and I assume you havent made it to 50 yet and it your first MMOG. CoH has a large number of first time MMOGer for it size ratio.
I'm taking 4 classes and working at chick-fil-a.
how in the name of zeus's butthole are yall getting all that inf and working...AT ALL! I'm not trying to insult I used to be an all the time(and I mean ALL the time) gamer but now I have re...re...sponasjbltiy. What is your work day like? Im dead serious I want the job you have that lets you get that much inf and still pay the rent.
I'm not joking. I'm not insulting. I need to find out if I need to cut back on my hours yet AGAIN!
