-Seriously you (SV) should be ashamed. I am ashamed for you.

Perhaps they should stop the " fast patching" and release patches that actually fix the game.  What is this, patch 15 since Awakening? image

For sure. Plus the "patches" never fix everything they claim to anyway.

-That aside I am freaking floored they released awakening with this many problems. And 2 months down the lines (and a growing list of "fixes") the game is still a mess. I really would be utterly ashamed if I were a company charging money for this. This isnt even that funny anymore (it once was) but is now verging on totally pathetic.

It's not that they DON'T fix the old one it is that they have no freaking idea what they are doing so when they DO fix some of the bugs this in turn breaks other shit, it is a never ending process, I feel sorry for them, i'm sure they have great intentions in mind but just keep continuing to fail, how many times can you kick a dog before it eventually attacks you, i am really suprised they are still going tbh.

but if the loyal supporters like the game why would they want it closed down?

there are 2 types of mmo, imitators and innovaters.

New patch notes are up - this patch appears to focus mainly on the AI:

    http://www.mortalonline.com/forums/threads/awakening-patch-notes-18-10-2012.79849/

    AI

    • Fixed odd colors on lictors.
    • Fixed lictors constantly carrying around a sword in their hand.
    • Connections will no longer be auto-learned.
    • Cleaned up client roaming.
    • Extended the ground check of AI-movement, this should cut down on AI that seem to float.
    • Slightly increased the offset AI uses when attacking you, this meansthey should have some more space between you and them when they are attacking.
    • Tamed AI will no longer clear aggro if they don't manage to hit the target.
    • Increase the fail-safe ticker on none-tamed AI.
    • Fixed issue where blocking AI incorrectly wouldn't be open to attacks as much as they should.
    • Ai now does more line checks when both firing and charging ranged attacks.
    • Added more animation restrictions on the AI when it's moving.
    • AI will no longer attack people in houses from the outside.
    • Cleaned up the roaming movement to make it smoother.
    • Rebuilt the roaming AI vs AI collision.
    • Fixed issue where patrolling NPC’s would idle at points where they shouldn't.
    • Fixed issue where patrolling AI would do a "jump" every time they leave a path-node.
    • AI-attacks now have the ability to alter if the AI can block or not.
    • AI that can block that switches to a bow will now NOT be able to block whileholding the bow.
    • Fixed an issue where ranged weapons used by the AI wouldn't show up in their hand until they were fired.
    • Added a little bit of tween for AI attack animations.
    • AI ranged attacks will now "lock" the charge animation when finished to avoid having AI charge bow, then for a split-second go into idle and then fire.
    • AI now have the ability to play animations when swapping weapons.
    • NPCs should now correctly re-spawn on nodes if patrolling and on spawn-spot if not.
    • AI can now change their walk animations based on what weapon they are holding.
    • Tamed AI will no longer flee.
    • Cleaned up some of the AI flee code, it should now work a lot better.
    • Fixed an issue where AI would find a position underground when fleeing.
    • Fixed issue where riding mounts would make them sometimes move into the ground. The new prediction is still a work in progress but improved with more to come.
    • Increased the accuracy of mob prediction when they are in attack-mode.
    • Rebuilt the intercept calculation for mobs.
    • Gave more bandwidth to the AI in attacking state this makes them follow you a lot better when in attack-mode.
    Weapons
    • Crafting handles and blades should now use the correct skills set by the designers.
    Movement
    • Somewhat changed the speed-curve.
    GUI
    • Fixed an issue with murder count window that caused problems.
    • Fixed Multiple-MC Issue.

Hell hath no fury like an MMORPG player scorned.
