Exactly, I'm looking to just finsh off the storylines for all those characters I created, for nothing. Sod anything else.
One thing you can say about GW2, you don't stay for the story
i do well the story quests at least find those to be very fun and wish they had enough to have one every level..whole claw island takeover and takeback series of quest was a ton of fun... think the gaps hurt the story overall as there is to much disconnect between story quests
I angered the clerk in a clothing shop today. She asked me what size I was and I said actual, because I am not to scale. I like vending machines 'cause snacks are better when they fall. If I buy a candy bar at a store, oftentimes, I will drop it... so that it achieves its maximum flavor potential. --Mitch Hedberg
you know BW put 1 quickslot bar in the begining for F2P players and they changed? and they changed 3 wz per week for 5?
isn't that listen the people?
Your aren't getting the issue of the game. Obviously the game payment model isn't the issue. Its the game's engine and style. Please tell me your joking that you like this game because its 99 percent instanced and 1 percent open world.
Now that's a pure exaggeration. LOL.
You're right. There is no open world as MMOs tend to have. It's all instanced (phased) and you barely see anyone anywhere except fleet (which is instanced too).
- SWTOR's freemium model (nickle & diming) stronger than B2P? Not likely.
SWTOR needs to completely revamp their buisness models if they want to have any hopes of competeing with GW2. Which with EA being in the picture, or at least now seems like they are fully calling the shots, I don't see that likely,
Even in SWTOR currents state it's lightyears more fun than the boring meaningless zerging in GW2.
If they manage space combat and some QOL improvements, a ton of bored GW2 people will return to the light side
By the way TSW is far superior to both and so are Rift and EVE.
F2P games have a reason to be F2P
TSW is so superior that they had lay offs left n right, top execs "leaving", had lackluster sales, and their stock plummeting? Rift is just another WoW clone if your happy with the same ol' same ol' and EVE is a totally seperate beast that doesn't even relate to these MMOs.
SWTOR has an actual coherent story and chars that is within the Star Wars lore.
GW2 has some fairly unique game mechanics.
I found GW2 story to be worst than the GW1 story (at least those that I can remember) and even more non-sensical which is a feat that I never thought can be done.
I mean... really? ANet? REALLY?!

Even if your a subscriber your limited. I spent more time on loading screens then actually being able to play the game. Yes I even have a high end PC for gaming and I run GW2 really well and Crysis 2 at max settings.
If your a gamer, you should have a solid state hard drive. Technology has moved on, you should too. Complaining about something that is your problem hardly makes it the games problem. This eliminates loading screen delays. No you don't have a high end gaming rig, thanks for the comedy.
umm you don't even know my specs, I do, so how are you going to tell me i don't have a high end gaming rig? The irony, thx for the laughs. that isn't the issue because I have not had problems like this before in any other game. The game's engine has been at fault for a while now. Its hardly my problem. I knew there will be a comment full of stupidity after my comment, so predictable lol.
EX: Its just like saying Geforce GTX 680 videocard isn't the best video card and saying its mid-end to low end. LOL.
I never had loading issues, EVER. I play GW2 and Crysis 2 at max setting, was even able to play The Witcher 2 at extremely high settings. It really might just be your HDD, never knock off some help. Even if it was given in a really douchey way. Also none of my friends ever had problems with SWTOR loading, even my gfs laptop played it well without any lag.

Did i just read that right? (rubs eyes) that BW is listening to the players on their F2P design?! HARDLY. Even hardcore supporters of the game have been complaining about their blatant greed grabs in this SOE-esc model they have going on.
And no, SWTOR Freemium model will never be better then GW2 B2P model because Freemiums are designed around one thing and one thing only, to force players to subscribe against their will.
Actually, they make SOE look socialist... They're down there with Perfect World and Nexxon at this point...

As a singleplayer game with story; Swtor is better.
As a good looking visual game gw2 is better.
Non of the game is good though! Crap!
