Last one is the best.  The first one is a lower end 27" ASUS monitor.  You can tell by the numbering between the first and last one.  The last one was a 278, the first was a 274.  There is also an ASUS 276.

The second one lacks a display port input which leads me to believe its an older model.

Go with either the Acer or the ASUS. It's a tough choice between the two you posted. The ASUS has a better response time but the Acer has a better contrast ratio. I'd probably go with the Acer. You won't notice a difference between 1ms and 5ms of response time, but you will slightly notice the difference between 80000000:1 and 100000000:1 contrast ratios. Also, Acers never seem to die, they just keep working year after year. Of course, you will start to notice color changes on any of these monitors once they get over 5+ years old though.

Is it worth to buy one? I really want a new 27" monitor. I'm currently using 24" 1080p monitor, and it works fine. I asked because i did some research and they say it is best to buy 27" with 1440p.

At this point if you have a 1080 24" monitor, its best to wait for ultra HD which should be out in a couple years.  It has twice the pixel depth as current resolution formats.

Those are also very, very expensive, and are currently limited to 30 frames per second.  If you want 60 frames per second at 4k resolutions, you'll need double the monitor bandwidth that current ports offer.

Thats currently.  Like all technology the price will drop, the bandwidth is possible with DisplayPort which is standard on all Discrete Video cards.

4k resolution ? O.O oh no no no :D If the 27" i wanted to get with 1080p is not worthy then i think ill save for this 27" with 1440p. any comment on this one?

    I'd take the ASUS

All of my posts are either intelligent, thought provoking, funny, satirical, sarcastic or intentionally disrespectful. Take your pick.

between the asus and the acer, it doesnt REALLY matter.

personally, i hate that really glossy look the acer one has. edges of a screen shouldnt be that reflective. would fuck with me non stop lol. might just be the picture tho.

    The Deep Web is sca-ry.
