DnL - Keys On Sale AGAIN (PROBABLY)

I guarantee each and every one of you that before December 8th there will be more keys put on sale. I KNOW they did not just "sell" out 8,000 keys @ $60 each! NO WAY.
They are trying to make it look like the demand is so great and that DnL will be a major hit.

People will say "anything" to justify their position
There is no conspiracy behind the sales of the pre-orders, the game is just that popular. There was a limited number of accounts available to buy, and they sold out, that is all.
I think to be accurate we should say we don't know. I posted my opinion though, but I am not forcing my opinions on anyone else.
I just see a lot of evidence of bad business practices.

We don't know the Earth is a sphere, just becuase someone told us it was... it's not really right to make stuff up, and then say we don't know, that's what gossips do
They have already said they will put more pre-orders up after SOG starts.
There's not going to be a game. They wouldn't make all these promises if they planned to honor them.

someone on the DnL forums already shot this down. Something about specific order numbers and how hard it would be to get a respected 3rd party like C&B to lie about them, which is what would have had to happen.
On a side note, WoW reall has only sold 2000 copy's of the game. its just when you switch servers, all the admins see you doing it and hurry up and log alts on that server so it seems like there is more people playing.
There will be more pre-orders, as announced, but they will not include (all) the bonuses of the Pioneer offer. It's your right to believe whatever you want, but there are legal consequences for Farlan and NPCube to lie about this and it is a thing that would certainly concern the investors.
Judging from the popularity of the game, the high activity in the forums and the (quite large) wave of unsatisfied SWG customers, I see no reason to doubt that they did sell all the 8881 keys.
After all, when you make a limited time/quantity offer, the marketing department first considers the number of potential buyers and then limits accordingly, so that the offer is sold out, as it generated more publicity. They probably considered to have 10k pioneer keys, then limited to 8881 to match the chronology of SoG.

christ people!, you can hate the game all you want and say it sucks and all that but you cannot deny the amount of fan base this game has.
yes it is a bad marketing ploy IMO giving huge ingame advantages to people with preorder accounts, but there is no conspiracy here im sure they did sell out the pioneer keys.
how would that benefit them by lying and saying they sold out when they already said they are going to sell more anyways? why would they refuse people's money when they are making a stink about it on the Dnl forums? why not just keep taking people's money?
im sorry but theory's like this are just poor attempts of trolls franticly trying to find any and everything to bash this game.
with all the negative Dnl bashing threads i sift through day in and day out this one has to be one of the lamest of all IMO...

If you had read the news on the DnL site you would know that more keys would be sold after december 8th, just not with the same benefits. Then again that would involve some research and not just flaming.
I guarantee you they sold 8.881 keys, there's imho a good 100k people following this game from close by or far away, that's without counting the e-bayers tempted to make a gamble on this title. If they told C&B they were selling that number of keys thus going to pay them 8881 comission fees and then go and "lie" about the number of keys sold with 12 days left on the set sale period they would face a major problem. Furthermore for the hype of the game it was important the given keys sold out, else there would have been more "Pioneer" keys available.
In the meanwhile I found out they use an external company to handle their marketting too. That would explain a lot of the questionable but functional techniques to make more money like the "Pioneer" offer.

If I come off as a troll, sorry, I'm not. I am simply bringing up a theory I have. I am not saying it is true. I hope this game is GOOD because I REALLY am looking forward to it, it is just that I didn't want to risk helping some conmen if that is what they are. It looks like that too the way they are acting.

I have no idea what will happen with this game and I'm hopeful that they'll pull it off but that sentence you wrote just makes no sense at all!

theres alot of people that don't bother with forums...especialy that one where noone knows about the game.
honestly here is the same thing sometimes, like jackdog telling us all about a game he has never played before, but its more general here. and i hate to harp on one person but there are a few bashers here who know nothing, but jack why do you have to jump in on every single thread. we all know your feelings toward the game, and we all know you don't actualy know anyting about the game(or anything else you post about for that matter) so just give it a rest already, like you said you would about 10 times now.
i have never posted once on the DnL forums, but i have been a member of them for 2 years. and i like forums, so just immagine the people that dont and just want to play the game.
Couple of points here Ful, first I am a self admitted forum addict. I rotate between five or six forums most of the day although Monday through Friday during daylight hours it is mostly industry related ones or if I do cruise through here I make a note and wait till I ma at home to post it due to time. I have multiple boxes running at here at home so no big deal to keep one dedicated to forums and email lots of people do it, in my world at least.
Secondly you keep saying I talk about what I do not know. I am not a beta tester but that by no means I have not seen the game, and perhaps in more than one place ~Twilight Zone music~
Ok the forum thing is reaching a bit I admit, but you got to admit go to most general game forums even the one here and mention DnL and you can pretty much count on a "meh" reaction. This thing has fell off everyones radar now.
Anyway in a few more days they will either delay SoG again and that should convince most anyone with a functioning brain cell that DnL will never be anything more than a dream and a website, or they will release SoG and I will wait patiently for all of you to render apologies for doubting me. Don't worry I shall accept them graciously.

And you realize that for them this isn't all that expensive, I mean the Europeans. To us, its ridiculous (maybe an exaggeration) but still the price is pricy for a preorder. To them its like 50.79 dollars (literally).

I would love to hear your specific reasons for why DnL sucks. What did you see in the game that was so bad that makes you positive the game will blow??
Forget about the developers, the delays and the perceived lack of hype. Just based on what you saw in person of DnL what makes it so bad?
