Conquer, for me i dont "play" the game anymore but i get on everyday, and talk. Conquer is a great game after you get used to it, which i mean, i quickly made it to the top of my server and everyone who is at the top is known by name, not character name. Its a big community, but small enough to have personall vendettas. Half of the guilds are from 1 or 2 people making one to kill a enemy of theirs. Check it out

I used to play Conquer a few years ago. But it became boring to me after I reached lvl '40 something'
I believe that all communities are good and bad. No help? Some people like New York, some people hate it. You have to find what's right for You! I play SWG. I've run into people that would screw your grandmother and others that give the shirts off their backs. You just have to treat the community like a real city. You would get suspicious if someone off the street offered to trade their Rolex for your jean jacket. Same concept in communities. I got screwed out of my $1 Barq speeder as a noobie. Now I know better. Another very nice player told me it was worth that much and hoped I hadn't lost it already (I had). No one can tell you what community is the best. You just have to test them for yourself. Sorry.....

most of the time that is true... but sometimes you find a community where everyone is great, and sometimes where everyone is crap.
I can tell you, I didnt even give Planeshift a chance, because as soon as I logged on all I got was criticism. I asked a question, and everyone would break out laughing at you because you didnt know how the game mechanics worked. It was just a horrible experience right from the start
If you put it that way, I have to agree. I guess the question should have been, "In your experience, what games have had the worst community you have experienced?"
Another supporter of Saga of Ryzom here. I left the game for various reasons, but one of those reasons was definitely not the community. The community at SoR was really great. Before then the best community for me was in CoH. Never had problems finding a team, people went out of their way to help you out (didn't matter what your level was). Good times.
-------------- Played: Age of Conan, DDO, Saga of Ryzom, SWG, DaOC, MxO, EQ2, and so on... Wish List: Jumpgate Evolution, Star Wars: TOR, Star Trek

since there are numerous mmorpg games, good communities are a lot too such as lineage, ffxi, etc.
I also recommend flyff community to all. it's not so big now but, it's rapidly growing and members are friendly..
should go to check that out...
