Dear XBOX One customers, a few pieces of advise.

- Every time you enter your living room, say how wonderful Obama and the USA are

- remember to drop some positive comments about the Patriot Act, Homeland Security and the NSA regularly in the vincinity of the Xbox One

- Never use words the following words: terrorism, Iraq, Iran, Osama, Islam, Muhammed, Allah, bomb, gun, communist, constitution, Alex Jones

- decorate the room where you XBox One is with US flag, pictures of Obama and several anti-NRA cartoons

Or how about some real advice? Before preordering, how about you double check that the X1 will even work in your country: http://www.xbox.com/en-US/xbox-one/pre-order-xbox-one/disclaimer

"Requires account on Xbox Live in an Xbox One-supported Xbox Live country (not all Xbox Live countries)." That list of countries is some what small, though it probably does hit the major ones.

But it's funny that CD Projekt Red, a polish company, was at the Microsoft E3 conference and Poland isn't even supported.

You can just put it on a power strip and cut the power when you aren't playing.  As for the NSA.  The better hope I ain't naked...for their sake. :p

The former director of the NSA said the other day on the news they can enable the microphone on cell phones even when turned off.  So unless the Xbone is actually unplugged, I wouldn't trust it to be turned off.

LOL I would personally love to organize a massive flood of information to the NSA, why don't we all in the USA just say terrorist, Allah infront of the XBOX so we all get flagged by the NSA for no reason if over 100 thousand people did it what are they going t do.

Either way I am personally not buying a console after all I have read about them not being able to play games offline and so on not my type of thing I will stick to my custom built pc, and if game companies don't design their games for my pc then too bad wont be buying no matter how much I like Mortal Kombat I am not buying a console, and Xbox One should support old games.

Quite curious this obsession to be paranoid about the government that many Americans seem to portray.

People need to take some lessons on how electricity works if they have issues with the camera. Or how basic laws would prevent anything said or possibly picked up through the kinect able to be used in anyway to incriminate. Not to mention simply saying something is not enough to incriminate yourself so long as you're not making verbal threats to a person.

But... This is the internets. The paranoid folks will probably think I'm a government goon trying to cover up our master plan.

    /sigh.

Also you can play games offline with PS4 Ren.

neither consoles are supporting older gen games and basically everything we own is connected to the internet all the time these days... your custom PC connected to the internet, it's not requiring you to "play online" it's requiring your system to be connected to the internet so it can access the cloud for additional features etc... for the games, it just makes for a more powerful gaming experience. my phones, tv's, computers, tablets, even my car to some degree is connected to the internet, basically all the time but we should def get rid of all of them, just like i'm sure you unplug your network cable from your PC when you're going to play "single player" games.

    *hands out Tinfoil hats*

Ok now that that is out of the way. How else do you expect them to protect their software? I take my new XB1 game..Oh lets say Forza 5, install it on my system. Now with the new way this game works, I can now play it without the disk. So lets put the check stuff aside a moment. So with no check, you can play the game till your hearts content. You could even take the game, bring it to EB and sell it. Then Bob could buy it, and play it, install it, sell it back...So in a week you have 25 people all playing 'Your' game.

Now, I know as a programmer that would annoy the hell outta me, heck that would almost be up there with those 'no good dirty pirates!' So, Microsoft added something to make sure you play your games, they stay your games, and if they are no longer yours, you cant play them. Seriously though people, how many of you with a 360 ARENT online with it most of the time you play? I know I am, then again, most of the games I play are for the multiplayer action.

I wont go into the "PC Master Race" bullpoop, as I don't see it. PCs are great, but a lot more expensive to keep, can do a lot more than just games yadda yadda. My 360, games have looked great for X years and no need to upgrades. PC people cant go more than a year or two before needed to upgrade something, graphics mostly.

As for 'The NSA' suddenly deciding to turn on your kinect to watch what you're doing. Get real people, if you're worried with that, you would NEVER have had a Kinect in the first place, or the PS Eye, or a webcam..For the same reason. Take off the tinfoil hats, just because 'Big Brother" CAN watch you, doesnt mean a) He Is or B) He gives a <censored> :)

PS: For those crying about the price...XB1 499....PS4 399....Technically they are almost the same price

Xb1 comes with the Kinect...PS4 camera is another 70 bucks.

I might just get an XBONE.

Then its "always on" feature can watch me as I play my PS4 games

Bringer of Eternal Darkness and Despair, but also a Nutritious way to start your Morning.

    Games Played: Too Many

obviously you are not aware that Microsoft already said that you can only "share" your game with 1 friend and once he uses it you cant have it back and nobody else can have it because it already has a second owner. So it isnt lending it to a friend, is giving it away to 1 person only at the cost of you not playing it again.

As for the NSA thing, dont bring the PS eye because the PS eye is not necessary to play or enjoy the PS. On the otehr hand, the xbox one does NOT work if the kinect is not watching you.

PS: the price of the Xbox would be OK if people wanted the kinect. If i dont want the kinect i am still stuck with a piece of hardware that i dont want and still have to pay for it so the console can play my games.

Xb1 comes with kinect, PS4 camera is another 70 bucks... read my line above. I dont need to pay for kinect if i dont want that piece of crap. Xbox one doesnt give me that choice. Buy it or gtfo. I will happily take my wallet away form MS and gtfo Far far away... towards sony.

and dont forget their most wonderful XB1 selling point... if your internet is having problems, stick to 360. brought to you by Don Mattrick

Yes the fixed a problem that wasent there to begin with, before you had your disc and if i dident have it you couldent play, why not still have that?

If games go over to digital only do that mean we will see a cut in price since they dont have to print and ship em to stores to sell, Not friggin likely.

My best advice is don't get one.

Play for fun. Play to win. Play for perfection. Play with friends. Play in another world. Why do you play?
