As far as I know, everyone in my group that applied for beta have already gotten in.
There are cases where email services (like hotmail) marked the SE's mass mailing address as spam/junk so you need to check that.
If you really really think that SE somehow never will send you a beta code on your account then apply for beta again on a different mail account to be sure. They will probably send a final round of code to everyone who applied and registered before the deadline sometimes this following week. Then they will take down their application page and registration system until open beta begin again.
Yah I just saw that post about live and Hotmail accounts. Of course that's what I am using. Thank you for the FACTS, instead of spewing out a bunch of "I thinks" at me..
Actually I did read your post, as informative as it was it didn't answer my specific question. Its actually the reason why I started to worry, because it seems everyone already has these beta codes to redeem and I do not. Despite the fact that I applied before phase 1.

Yours was different, but I thought you found the answer? If you never received a code (check your spam folder just in case), I would either go to the support website and look for help, or reapply with a different email. Frankly, using a different email sounds easier to me.
Originally posted by ZeroOne.TheDreamer I heard today that 9th August confirmed for Open Beta? Is this true?
People speculate it will be then because of the time-frame given after the scheduled Developers Letter on August 8th. Open beta needs at least a week, then 3 days down time for modifications, then early release on the 20th.
Is it fair to asume that if you recieved a beta code for participation in a previous beta, that you are not supposed to apply to again? - Its confusing because I recieved a code a while back and played in the beta, but it never occured to me to use another email for yet another code in order to play the open beta? Its really confusing me now.

If you played in a previous beta... you're automatically in open beta.
If you receieved a beta code but never registered it, you have until July 30, 2013 to register that code.
If you never applied for beta, it's too late to apply now because the deadline was July 22, 2013.
Thanks for the prompt answer. I did previously play in the beta, I think around the start of july, so beta 3 ? - It just never occured to me that I needed to reapply, untill I saw this july 22nd deadline and got confused about wether it was something to worry about. Thanks for clearing that up.

Either way I wouldn't worry.

Seems a lot of people (including myself) are thinking it's August 9th, it's a Friday for what it's worth.

Progress DOES NOT carry over to live... and if you mean progress from previous betas, no. All Phase 3 information was wiped.
So, actually, a bunch of you are wrong.
I don't know how to link this directly (doesn't seem to be an anchor, wut), but it's here: http://lodestone.finalfantasyxiv.com/pl/index.html

Note the stuff in orange.
As for the poster above: http://gdl.square-enix.com/ffxiv/download/en/FFXIV_2.0_BETA_Roadmap_EN.pdf
Assuming that document is legit, under Phase 4: "Characters created during this phase will be carried over to the official release."
