    1. No clue

    2. No clue

    3. No clue

    4/5. I hate it...I love it 50/50

That's where I stand and what I expect, I didn't get my cryptic SoE decoder ring to know how to take their little tweets and one liners.

You think it will be any different in a week or a month from now?

There will just be more of it.

Once the cat is out of the bag it's par for the course for things to go down hill from there.

All I can say from experience is that until the game has been released, nothing is what I think. You Tube, Bloggers, Gamer reviews. Fan Hype. Etc Etc. All the data that gets released. You are still not going to know until after. Every MMO and/or expansion that I waited for and paid attention to, has been different than what I thought.  I am now waiting for FF14. I like what I have seen in Beta, but I also know that I have no seen enough to know what it will be like long term.

SoE, will do NOTHING to help portray EQN Accurately, they want it hyped so info will be shown in best light possible, exaggerated or evaded.

    1. A large open world with no instancing, or phasing.  I do expect it to be heavily zoned though.
    2. A class system that allows the player to take on skills and abilities of other classes after they've reached the cap.
    3. A consensual PvP world, where PvP is available anywhere but there will be a flagging system for doing it.  Also certain parts of the world will be auto flagged for PvP, most likely some of the best item drops and crafting recipes will come from these areas.
    4. A dynamic world with all quests being randomly generated through the use of storybricks,  Not everyone will have access to the same quests and some of them will never appear again.
    5. All the terraforming and building structures will come from the SOE UGC system.

Sandbox means open world, non-linear gaming PERIOD!

Subscription Gaming, especially MMO gaming is a Cash grab bigger then the most P2W cash shop!

Bring Back Exploration and lengthy progression times. RPG's have always been about the Journey not the destination!!!

this mini game allows everyone 5 statements of what he expects to see and hear  at SOE live concerning EQnext.

-an open seemless main PvE world with PvP in a sepperate part of the world

    - challenging PvE combat, with trains and deathpennalties and building PvE factions or becomming KOS to other factions

    - stories and quests in instances and or sepperate phases of the world.

    - player owned buildings in PvP

    - player controlled economy based on crafting..

The world won't be seamless then if pvp is in a separate part of the world. It would be stupid to create a seamless world only to  tuck pvp away somewhere outside the game world.

Think out of the box, and suddenly things like a PvP continent might come to live

Best MMO experiences : EQ(PvE), DAoC(PvP), WoW(total package) LOTRO (worldfeel) GW2 (Artstyle and animations and worlddesign) SWTOR (Story immersion) TSW (story) ESO (character advancement)

1: Political system like VG integrated with Dynamic NPC factions using storybricks.
2: TempXP system like Dragon Empire.   http://pc.gamespy.com/pc/dragon-empires/515530p1.html
3: Large seemless world with many races and classes and open world housing with some limits but allowing for player cities.
4: Amazing crafting/gathering system and collections.
5: Major underground adventuring.  Think the Underdark.

    1. No Fae

    2. No frog

    3. Player created character emotes

    4. Seamless, "instanceless" world

    5. Player controlled economy. (Make tradeskilling more valuable than looting.)

Yeah, what are you going to do about it?

Zoneless, open world - it uses the same engine as PS2 so it'll be likely.

Factions that mean something - Smedley mentioned players who liked factions in EQ1 will be impressed.

Classless gameplay - Fiona holding a bow was a hint towards this, IMO.

User generated content - Not just using the Player Studio, but tools in game too. Maybe like EQ2's dungeon maker, only more fleshed out.

Emphasis on crafting. EQ2 did a good job on it considering it was a themepark, can only hope it will be like SWG's system set in Norrath.

    Ginormous open world

    PS2/Freerealms class switching

Unprecedented communication between players, other players and the environment

    Hard content

    Real quests and not tasks

    Basically EQ1 with improved tech.

    Massive, open, seemless world

    Phased dungeons (not instanced)

Pve driven game with open word pvp possibilities

    Indepth faction driven gameplay

    And cruel immersion.
