    thats legit i guess, also the PS2 classes were selectable so it didnt feel like i was really playing my personal hero - 

    thus i hope in EC u have ur own char that u can mess around and change his rolls(weapons/mods etc) AKA he's totaly ur personal creation, insted of just selecting preset role from 5,  with some colour customizable options added on the side.

    Will Space Marine chapters have access to specific items/wargear? Dark Angels have their Ravenwing, Space Wolves have their Thunderwolf cavalry, Blood Angels have their Death Company and Furioso Dreadnought, and Ultras have... the codex?

    I'm sure stuff like that falls under the same category as specialized weaponry that I asked earlier.

     

    It was stated specialied stuff won't be around on release, but fingers crossed that they'll come out later.

    What classes are in the game?

    Each faction features a unique selection of classes drawn from their lore, and each character in a faction has the opportunity to choose from a variety of classes when they deploy on the field.

    For the Space Marine faction, a few of the classes you can choose from include Tactical Marines, Devastators, Assault Marines, or Apothecaries (Wolf Priests in the case of the Space Wolves).

    Check out their codices if you want to speculate - more details soon!

     

     

     yes: space marine have specifical codex troop, also bike are confirmed 

    (QuestionDark Angels’ back tells of a division "Raven’s Wing", made up of speeders and bikes. Will there be a chance to mount a motorbike?)

    (Answer: All space marines chapter might have bike companies. The Raven’s wing will be featured with the Dark angels chapter for launch.)

    I think I mentioned it already - it will be a combination of 'skill to unlock' in some sort and a voting system. so not everyone can become part of the council. i personally don't like the idea of fighting to become a leader, because leading is not about being the best fighter, its way more about strategy and the big picture. how the mechanics exactly are going to be is not to be revealed yet :)

    I really hope we will have EU and NA server, since latency will be high for one of them if we have only 1 server for all players

    1 - in the interview, Miguel talked about how "Eldars and Chaos could make an alliance to wipe the rest of the forces outta the planet, then duke it out among themselves"...so, lets say Im a SM and in the first week we and orks were wiped, then the eldars and CSM take 3 weeks to decide a winner...what am I supposed to do in the meantime till the campaign is resolved? watch netflix?

    2 - long time NL Legion  fan...lightning bolt patterns as a painting option ingame, yay or nay?

    Not sure if this directly answers your question, but Miguel clarified that they'll be more than one server, although you'll only see one.

    I took from his comment to mean that you wont be able to chose between server a or server b, you'll just see 'server' on your list. 

    Whether that'll mean that they'll be separate locales for europe I have no idea.

    well first of all we are thinking of language specific chat channels. but there will be a global chat too - now ofc that might cause some problems and language barriers to happen - so in the end we might end up splitting languages on different servers, but that will not be decided in near future. will also depend a lot on how many players are actually going to be on the servers at the same time.

    well even if there are EU and NA 'servers', it's not for sure that the latency is perfect for everyone - a lot of games just use one hosting center in NA or somewhere else and just call the servers EU, or Asia or whatever. We are aiming to make the game responsive and playable even with a ping above 100ms. This is not a first person shooter we are making, it is not important to have the best ping and with our prediction algorythms we want to make sure everyone is equal footed.

    1) you cannot erradicate a race from the game ;) what Miguel meant is that for the current skirmish (campaign) some races can be 'removed' - that does not mean that the whole planet is wiped from those races ;) There will be war everywhere to continue playing, an who knows, if orks and eldar focus on the campaign on e.g. one continent, maybe other continents might be there to be taken in the meanwhile ;)

    oh - you mean like eastereggs and stuff...hehe, well yes we plan to have eastereggs :) and i can totally imagine to see a Primarch "Lord Pada" somewhere in the game :)

    I tried to answer this above - though I know it's a bit fuzzy - we are going to tackle that problem in plans so far, decisions are not made.

    will my character model show how damaged i am? for example:

    i took many hits to my left shoulder, will only my shoulder look damaged? or my whole character? or will i see no damage at all?

     

    2. will we be able to jump? (without jumppack)

    or just combatrolles like in space marine?

     

    3. will we be able to damage some1 who is in a vehicle if we have good aiming?

    1) too early to say - we want something like that yes, but we have not made it work yet ;)

    but why no jump? i've played many yers gw1 and i play space marine (so i'm ok with no jump for reasons) gw1 dont' have jump but  charging the enemy and getting stuck in a rock or can't yump over something can break immersion. i know, bunny hopping can be ridiculus in a war 40k game. but maybe a small jump with a cooldown can help not being stuck every where.

    i think jumping marines will just look wired ^^

    but for eldar and orks it would be ok cause they are not heavily armored

    Any kind of cover mechanic?  

    Soft/hard cover played a role in the 1st edition hardback 40 k rule book! Though SM power armor is cover!

    Will armor save come before toughness roll in your edition?
