Same. Every time I've logged in during primetime since the last patch on my server i get queues. Even without the queues you can see and feel how packed it is. The haters of this game better get comfortable, it's not going anywhere. If there is anything this game lacks it's a lack of content. The sky is the limit at this point.
He is trying to say that nobody has stopped playing and the servers are packed because he had to queue.
Problem is queues don't really mean anything, just as when they needed to increase server caps they can decrease server caps just as easily in preperation of the player loss and also many will be staying online to give the illusion of full servers while they goto bed or work, the afk kicker is easy to block.
This was very popular on FFXI, many would never log to inflate player numbers.
The problem honestly with what you're trying to accomplish with this thread is you're showing the exact opposite, your fear of failure. If you were genuinly confident you wouldn't make a thread like this and indeed you wouldn't defend it so strongly either because you wouldn't need to.
You're right, there are thousands of players who are all soooo personally invested in making sure this game looks more popular than it is, they are leaving their computers and game running 24/7.
If you told me a couple hundred obsessed fans were doing this I might believe you. But to think any significant amount of players are doing this Is poppycock.
And people AFKing all night to avoid not being able to log back in before the fixes is entirely different.
You never played FFXI did you?
Huge chunks of these people never logged off at all and you could see them afk in the same spot in the popular "afk spots" with search comments "At work" "Asleep" etc, there was huge anger at afk kicker on FFXIV because of these players that migrated over to this new game. The afk kicker is incredibly easy to get around so they stopped complaining and still never log off.

Of course I don't think it's just that, they obviously would of lowered the server caps too. There is no reason to have such high server caps anymore, they wouldn't advertise the fact they did it though would they.
Anyone that thinks there are just as many people playing now as when it was free is crazy.
I can't even...
You make it sound like us FFXI players stayed logged in just to inflate server numbers... When that is far from the truth...
We stayed logged in because of the Bazaar and selling items through it that couldn't be sold via the Auction House. Those popular spots were there because everyone knew that that is where you could buy Dynamis currency and other things that couldn't be bought through the AH... Never played FFXI did you? FFXIV is doing well, nobody can deny that. Its Fact. No they wouldn't ninja lower the cap while they are still having queues and other server stability issues... thats just retarded.
Keep coming up with your conspiracy theories though they are amusing to say the least.

Waited to the last moment and removed my reoccurring subscription, honeymoon is over and boredom set in.
It was real and it was nice but it was not real nice.
Why would you put your CC info in? It didnt ask you for one when you created the account nor do you need one for the free 30days.....
Are you so conditioned that you actively searched for a way to input your CC information? Or are you just lieing about playing the game?
In what part of his post did he mention that he put his CC info in?
Now it's been a long time since I last paid my subscription, but I believe I did pay my reocurring subscription using PayPal.
The only way you can end up with a recurring subscription is by entering your billing information...
That should be obvious.
