Bliz decided to move the shop button to be more prominent, they want people to use the shop. Its not a pay to win so the only people that should care are those that want to buy.
people who want to raise a ticket will um use the button at its new home.

Regardless if it was in game or not they already had the Blizzard store where you could buy all this so...redundant post is redundant.
An item shop that can be accessed in-game is paramount to a successful freemium model. As you stated, they already have a perfectly working and successful shop available on their website, so why offer an in-game solution if they aren't at least considering switching payment models? That's all I'm wondering, no need to call my thoughts and opinions useless simply because you don't like them.
Convenience ? Ease of access? I mean, it's a no brainer that a shop built into the game has potential of generating more sales simply because you don't have to go through extra hoops just make your purchase.
It's exactly the same reason I'm now using B.Net launcher rather than having clutter of shortcuts on my desktop.
I'm amazed that it's taken this long for them to put this in the game. It seems like such a no-brainer. Let people benefit by buying the stuff they want, let Blizzard benefit by taking their money.
I can not remember winning or losing a single debate on the internet.
