If you feel like a +12 health regen from folks who bought the CE is allowable, then by all means, express yourself. DEFEND AWAY! It's going to need a huge amount of defense anyways, so may as well start now.
Seems P2W to me ???
One of the best buffs in my past MMORPG's is regen. It makes my day 3 or 4 times more productive. How is regen not P2W?
Shield Affinity : +15% XP with sword & shield
Conditioning : +4% max stamina
Tough : +4% max health
Red Diamond : 10% chance to restore 3 points of Health on successful hit.
These are the 'supposed' Imp racials if you're to believe the wikia
For all the races, the last passive on the list, which unlocks later in the game, is the only real unique and relatively powerful one. For the imperials it's Red Diamond, the life leech.
Looks identical to me(for the imps at any rate). lol

Right you are lol. the numbers threw me. All except the free one that you get at character creation, have 3 ranks. It's actually easier to see and is ordered correctly in this other link. Just add points to each to get the max value.

Thanks for the link, but my uncertainty towards playing it stands. I'll wait and see if it fares better in RvR than GW2 did.
You will be actually very wise. Say you decide to play it 6 months down the lane, not only you will have more stable and hopefully content heavy game but also quite cheap.
Its all about self control. if you look at the posting history of most of the people around here you would notice that they go total bananas at every new release and then just end up disliking it after a month or two (not all but majority). i used to be like this but gladly i broke this cycle after SWTOR release. Now i prefer waiting for 6 months to 1 year.
MMO gamers are are like addicts and can not resist the new shiny MMO launch even though they know that they will end up hating it in few months..rinse and repeat.

Zenimax should have gone the route of making Imperials identical to an existing race, not make them unique.
Skins are fine, but adding other qualities is not fine.
The bonus's will make them manditory in high level raids.
Imperials should be a global race, not one selected to who has the most money.
I agree that a paywall for a race in a sub game is a gamble, though I'm not completely surprised nowadays.
Though given the other races have good abilities as well, depending on your preference, shows to me that Imps won't be so OP as all that but who knows?! I guess we'll see how it unfolds.

Couldn't agree more.
I've also learned my lesson, a few times actually...I loved the TES series but not so sure the mmo can captivate me as much.
You have to remember, the definition of "P2W" here is "anything you pay extra for that the person posting doesn't think should cost extra, whether it has any impact on winning or not."
Peace is a lie, there is only passion. Through passion, I gain strength. Through strength, I gain power. Through power, I gain victory. Through victory, my chains are broken. The Force shall free me.
Originally posted by JHenry They were saying that imperial race has 12% health for rank 3?? Way too OP IMO. It's becoming pay 2 win at the beginning.
Imps get 12% health increase...Orcs get +6% AND +15% in-combat Health Regen. rate. I'll take the Orc over the Imp for tanking any day of the week.
As a matter of fact, the only alliance that actually could benefit from the Imperials is the Aldmeri Dominion because they don't have anyone with tanking racials...but then again, they can also have pet Orcs if those Orcs pre-order.
Isn't that nice?
The P2W factor comes into play. Makes peps want to buy the collectors version eh? I mean +12 health increase plus combat bonuses and various bonuses .. derp derp .. yeah the collector edition is nice.
[sucks for everyone else?]
Dude, do you even read?
I do. Whether or not you comprehend what was said by my post remains to be seen.
It was pretty clear, from my standpoint.
[you may wish to read into the details before defending] - expose those details instead of trying to hide them?

No, you don't read. Imperials don't have 12% health regen. It's 12% max health. Totally different.
Btw, Nords & Orcs have 15% health regen. Yeah Nords & Orcs are actually P2W.
I've also pre-purchased Imperial Edition, mostly in order to get the ability to craft Imperial Gear.
Well, as it seems you can get the same skill just by finding the book in game.
Horse, while nice, is also nothing special - I managed to get 5k gold during the beta weekend no problem, so everybody can get a horse within several days.
Not sure if the ability to transform any gear you own into Imperial styled gear is unique? I guess not, if you have the skill.
So, basically, the only unique feature is the ability to create Imperial character with decent racial perks (only for melee dps).
Well i could understand if you said the horse was pay to win i mean the guy with imp horse will have more inventory/speed/harder to knock off depending on how he specialise his/her horse
You can do it once a day and it will take people with normal afew days to get the 17.5k
While its good to have speed or be harder to knock off in pvp and more inventory slots in pve i dont see why coming faster to the keep and rushing in alone will gain you ^_^ i sure as hell want to stay behind people and survive

I was scratching my head about that one too. He kept saying the wrong thing, but it was entertaining.
I think if you guys look on Reddit there is a post about a level 50 Sorcerer who put every stat point into health. The reasoning was that at his level, with all of his gear tuned towards Magicka, he reached a soft cap that made points into magicka far less effective.
People can get upset about the imperial 12% health bonus, but the fact of the matter is they will reach the health soft cap quicker and will probably be investing in stamina or magicka.
The best racial abilities are pure damage, +Fire damage, +Crit dmg. etc
