    That's a bit odd... I know celeron's arn't as good as P4s but they're not even close to being that bad. Hmm...

    new processor/motherboard/video card will do it.  your VC isnt that bad, so worry about that last, but definately get off the celeron

    Strange it was so laggy that I couldn't play Battle field 1942 properly. My system before was crap, but it didn't meet so much problem as this new one.

    Celeron 1Ghz, 256MbRam, Geforce2 64MB.

    And the recomendation of the P4 instead of Celeron was right. P4 is miles ahead of Celeron.

    I suspect that my problem was same as you: Bab memory. So where did you download the patch Zohar? Can you tell me so I could find a way out for my comp.

    A Radeon 9800 will almost always give a h-4000+ score. Unless your processor is retarded.

    The lowest score I've heard from the new 9800 XT is h-5800.

    I have the same comp with a 5600 Ultra, score was only 2100/3050 for me. If you think you score is bad - its not. A nice card will only help you through laggy high-pop areas. As long as your computer isn't-half bad it will run smoothly.

    High - 4849
