Lets talk about the game breaking bugs that you know of... I'll start

I thought when I went to Cyrodill that the game would open up to me.

I got my white horse for cheap cause I saw rvr and nom, nom, nom on it.  Then I found out if you log off while on hourse you can never mount again until you email support to fix it.  The cast bar goes, but the animation call needs to be fixed on their end, so you can't ever mount.

Since we are on mounts lets talk about dismounts.  I will not talk a fake realizim in a game with magic, BUT I hought the reason to rode the mount was to move faster, this doesn't happen as every little bump in the bitmap you hit, you dismount..  The main RvR server is locked right now and I can't tell you how stupid it is going to be to try and ride the long distances between objectives and contnually havening to remount.

dismounting is gamebreaking.

Now lets talk about the sound bug you haven't heard of.

When your in large scale battles your sound will go out, untill you relog.  The lag is bareable, but having your sound cut out for an entire play session unles you relog is...

how do you say it?

not ready for purchase?

if this isn't fixed post launch lots will get their money back, including me.

edit:  I forgot the lies of a megaserver....this isn't happening either.  You can pick for campaigns with a cap limit like shards for craptastic gw2.

    level 19 char in a bad state /stuck doesn't fix ...

at last 6 quests left incomplete because of bugs ... lost count actually ...

uneven combat ... long stretches of boring sameness ... clunky overall design, some things really simple, other things overly complex with no real point ... capricious difficulty ...

i realize its beta, however if this goes out live i am uncertain how it will go ...

Complaining about bugs during a beta is beyond ridiculous, regardless of how far away launch is.  You have no idea what they plan to fix before launch and finding bugs is the main point of beta testing.

hahaha and neither do you ... we will all see what comes out the door and how it goes ... at this point it does not look promising, get over it ...

That' not entirely true.  The main point of the beta testing since a few months ago has been "stress testing" or looking at capacity issues.  Yes, bugs are still on the radar, but we are a ways past the point where people are still in beta just to look for bugs.

The smart ones already jumped the bandwagon and went for the refund. Don't hold your breath for a miracle at launch.

Funny thing is it would be hilarious if it was all a joke and the real client hasn't been released and they are are giving you half @$$ed garbage. But coming from my experience from the game thats what it is...a step back and very un-innovated

ive only experienced 2 types of bugs in all 3 betas i played. Bugged quests and npc conversation / merchant bugs. I reported as much as i could but everyone i hear talking about the beta says the beta we are playing is an old build and not the updated build and blah blah blah.

The only thing preventing me from buying the game is the "any race / any faction" restriction for people who dont preorder and the imperial race tied with CE. If they never allow post launch buyers to get at least the race/faction unlock as part of their subscription then ill never buy the game and wait for a f2p conversion. I learned not to tolerate crap practices when my money is involved. And these practices Zenimax are trying to pull out on us are perfect for my wallet to stay closed. I wish more people did it so they see they (Zenimax) are doing it wrong.

    cant press escape.

    dialogue bugs.

The bugs I am experiencing are alpha level bugs. To have them in beta is a sign that the game needs more development time.

It's like the soul of the game has been ripped out between the last beta and this one.

Actually this may be partially true. Point of this beta is to show changes in mechanics, in particular regarding tutorials. There were a few games were open beta / last beta event client was quite a bit different than the one used for official launch however obviously even then it there was no revolution. But things like massive bug fixes to not working quests and so on may happen for launch.

And hopefully it will (as hopefully current build is not considered as iteration in fixing stuff) or game and company will have tough life atleast through the first few weeks after launch.

    - zones

    - instanced zones

-meaningless content of grinding points here and there

    - no player interaction/change of the gameworld

Oh wait those arent bugs, thats the gamedesign

    bugs me, /shrug

LFD tools are great for cramming people into content, but quality > quantity.

How about the file permission error that prevents the game from running at all!

Aren't they still using a build that is from several weeks ago? I haven't kept up with this beta weekend so I haven't really looked into it. But, if it's not a newer build than the last one than none of the problems will likely be seen fixed.

And, here it comes again and I will say it. "This is Beta".

The weird part is the escape thing didn't happen to me a single time during the last test. The dialogue bug happened a few times then though. It's a lot more frequent this time.

Collision detection is in this build so a couple weeks old.

The phasing thing is awful - it forces people to solo stuff if you fall out of step with your friends.

Also, the main storyline quest where you return to Coldharbour, and Titanborn cannot break through a rockfall, no matter how many times you reset or relog. Cannot advance.

Here's my encounter list so far-

-Client crashing when closing a dialogue box
-Screen flickering when choosing different dialogue options
-Interface freezing when trying to use vendors
-Client crashing when completing vendor transaction (and losing both currency and items bought/sold)
-Engaged mobs teleporting to player rez point after player death (happened twice so far)
-Client crash when joining a group (once so far)
    -Interface freezing at quest completion

I think two weeks until launch is a fair time frame to be concerned.  There are many many bugs which prevent progressing the questlines (which are the only decent way to level now that they nerfed Cyrodiil repeatables), and many game breaking bugs like the OP mentioned.

I doubt we will see a miracle patch which fixes it all in 2 weeks.

No they updated the client to the closed beta patch for this weekend.  What you see is pretty much what you'll get at launch.

I'd say the UI and Quest bugs are probably going to be top priority over the next few weeks, launching with those problems will not be pretty.

It all rests on how much the dev team can get done in two weeks. I think it can be done, but I'm generally optimistic.

How many betas have you done? Actually, timing is everything especially with betas and demos. If they released this as a demo prior to launch this would be definitely not up to par and they'd potentially generate lawsuits from investors like with EA *cough* Battlefield 4 *cough*. They stopped updating the build for at least a month or two and the new build hardly changed anything (they played around with the starting areas, filled in the oceans, and finally reintroduced the broken crafting system that's supposed to be less broken now). New bug reports started being meaningless months ago since nothing has really changed between builds other than cosmetics. This is extremely troubling because they have a ton of things to fix/implement that players haven't had a chance to test out yet.

A handful of people have been spouting things about this magical build that the developers have that's supposedly light years ahead of what we're playing on (how they got this information who knows, but I call bullshit). With all this going on and looking at all the previous betas over the years I jumped into the "what you see is what you get camp". I could be wrong, but I'm looking forward to see you "it's just a beta" guys and fanboys quietly disappear when the ship goes down in flames later on like always.

So far I have experienced several UI freezing issues that have not really been solved in the last  3 betas, however I believe this will eventually get fixed, most likely post launch. The dismounting and lag issues in PvP are the biggest issues I have seen though by far. For a game that is supposed to have epic PvP this should certainly not still be an issue. I will not purchase until these issues are fixed. I know for sure the lag issue will not be fixed by launch and who knows how long it will take to get it fully sorted out, if ever. I am saddened by what I have played and seen from this game, I had much higher hopes because the IP could have evolved the genre.

I think turning a blind eye to the issues at hand is more ridiculous.  I've been a part of MANY betas.  And I will tell you now, I have never played a beta this close to launch that is still this buggy that didn't launch in almost exactly the same state.  Vanguard and AoC are the most recent that have been this bugged at this stage of development and they are still known to this day for their horrific launches.

No, this build is basically the same as the PTS build currently.
