From what I could gather on their website they seemed pretty open to refunds at least until the game's official launch. Has anyone had luck getting one so far?
My buddy accidently ordered 2 copies of the digital edition (Completely not their fault) and they were quick to refund him entirely for one of the editions, with no issues or questions asked.
Here are some directions for refunds. They are currently experiencing more requests than expected. The following information was all taken from the ESO web page.
Can I cancel my pre-purchase? Players who wish to cancel a pre-purchase of the game and obtain a refund should contact our dedicated Customer Support team. Please be aware that Customer Support will only be able to assist... Date Updated: 03/26/2014
I think its the technical issues which is causing people to ask for so many refunds rather than game being boring.
Same cry-babies that play every game at launch and demand a refund on day one because they found a bug in an MMO.
Or because the game didn't meet their expectations...or...miracle patch that was supposed to fix all the bugs didn't happen and they are a bit miffed...or...any of a 100 different reasons why they may want to cancel. It is their prerogative to do so.

This is not saying that they are receiving more requests for refunds than expected, it is saying they are experiencing more customer service requests than expected.
If you try to contact them about anything you get the same message.

They are bogged down with, them messing up peoples accounts. And when you get to the person on their so called dedicated customer service they cant do anything for you. They are little more then a email forward person. So dont waste your time with the phone call. Just send them a email.

I tried to email them too, but got no verification that they recived my issue, and also no answers yet. I posted the issue 2-3 hours ago. All I got is an issue number. Well, 3-4 hours is not much time for them to answer, but anyone know where can I check the issue with my code?
Took about a week after they announced the API nerf, but they did get the refund in. And I got a the automaticly generated survey asking about my customer service experience.
I am also going to try to get a refund...after 24 hrs of not being able to play these bunch of clowns sent an email trying to say I did something wrong and broke their rules when in fact I did nothing...F*ck Them

Not applying for a refund but will not subscribe. Going to leave it a month or two I think. Too many crashes to error report screen. Bugged quests in starter areas is really not on at launch these days. Rewards that never make it to your inventory. Falling through the landscape. No play style other than following the quest lines (almost no xp for anything else). Would have preferred they released a little later and actually fixed it up a bit. Disappointed but will return when sorted.

Few guildies of mine said on teamspeak that they got their refund without any problem. Takes around 24 to 48 hrs so you have to be patient.
Good luck.
Customer support forums is already 31 pages long and its not even a week.
