With all the negative thing being said about the game as of the 13 of December I suppose give or take a few days, I would be surprised if it is delayed until winter or early of 2007. Don't get me wrong I want the game to come out in April but lets be a little "real" do you think the game will be ready for April? I'm not taking anything away from the developers but I rather them take there time to make the game the best it can be rather than just half-assing it just to appease a few game followers.
I play a game to "really" play the game and I say this to state that I play a game more than just the free month they allow you to play. Depending to the game 100+ dollars may be spent to get the full experience form the game and to get 100 dollars from me is pretty hard.
DAoC and a few others have managed to do this. All I'm saying lets think about the positives as I always say it is easy to pick out faults but hard to speak on the good. Keep that in mind and just think once this game is really ready it will be a big threat in my opinion.

SoG is not a beta remember...it is a full stand alone product to reward all the ones who stood faithfully by as they delayed release of DnL multiple times in the last 2 + years
It shouldn't matter how long a game has been in development all that matters is a good final product. I have seen many a game just vanish because of no followers or financial problems so you are right to your opinion but just be sure to watch as this game takes shape and becomes one of the best games out there.
I just hope they don't make another Asheron's' Call, good the first moths and just tanked. I love what they are doing, taking there time to make a good game. You guys should be thankful that a game company is not rushing to appease you and also disgusting you as well.

Just wait until 2010 when D&L is released and then you will see who will be eating their own words!!! Because by then, they should have a "good final product"! Its NOT incompetence that they are taking their time with, it is because they are "taking there time to make a good game"!
If this game is postponed and not come out in April '06 its done. If it release in April '06 its done. This game is done. I still have a pioneer account and I had high hopes, but the reality is DnL cannot compete with any game out there. Basically, Np3 found a cool world and had a dream to put a game here. They don't have the resources to pull it off. After this weekend and the patch I have decided to shelf SoG because its just not any fun. And after spending 3 agonizing days getting the patch to work I realized that I value my time way more than I value SoG/DnL. I will check back in April and if it does not release by May 1 I will request my refund.
I wish all who stay the best of luck. I am going back to WoW until something better comes along or LotRO goes beta or is released......
