You didnt want to talk about ZOS...you ended the convo not me.

What do I have to say about ZOS? WHat does ZOS have to do with review scores? That's the conversation we were having. Obviously that's done, or do you still believe SKyrim released problem free on the consoles?

Even after all the updates they have done to consoles it's still plagued by bugs too. It's an Elder Scrolls hallmark for the entire series. We have gotten completely off topic though at this point lol.

Heh, well we started off kinda on topic, as the point was there's no universal gauge to what scores well and what doesn't, it's up to what the reviewer enjoys and what they're willing to put up with to experience it. I used Skyrim as an example because it scored well from most outlets regardless of the many issues the game had.

If you would like to continue the conversation you replied to first then we can continue. If you just want to change the conversation then im not interested. We were talking about how ZOS was a buggy game and Wildstar was polished and the scores represent that. Just because you change the conversation to something else doesnt mean I need to entertain that.

It seem that the general gaming community is just not interested, or have no idea what a Wildstar is. Look at the number of reviews on this site, ESO has 3 times the reviews. Look at Metacritc, ESO has 8 times the reviews.
There is very little positive or negative thought or written about Wildstar.
3 times the reviews and been out for 6 times as long and has a majority of negative reviews...Are you trying to defend ESO or bash it?
Edit: Ha in before you realized that was a stupid comment.
Now now... be nice to bcbully. Age of Wushu failed him, so now he's on to selling everyone on ESO, which (like his Wushu sales pitches) includes posting crazy stuff like the above in threads about the games he feels are competition.
He tries very very hard at this, so cut him some slack.
Regardless of his opinion, WildStar has many issues that are not covered in this review, and as much as I'm enjoying the game, I don't think it's any better than ESO at this point. I play both currently and each has their fair share of problems.

No you just assumed you were talking about something else...Also remember you ended the conversation...You questioned why I was talking about ESO when that was what you replied to.
I can agree with that score I guess, but not the review. The combat is horrible in terms of mass confusion in large battles. No one can sit there and tell me they know everything that's going on while 50 people are spamming epileptic inducing array of skills with a multitude of colors and shapes.
WS is a much better game than ESO and therefor I can agree with both scores they were given. Before you say I'm a biased WS fan, I'm not. I hate WS equally as much as ESO.
AA > WS > ESO
People like the high speed twitch action. It is FUN to some. It plays more like an arcade game. Would you rather play Pong or play Wildstar? People are drawn to this, just like some people like you are drawn to the slower sandwich combat that AA has.
I could not even compare the 2 games at all, but I find AA completely boring (my opinion of course). You are playing AA and you like it better, we cannot argue against your opinion.
BTW, I find it funny how fast ESO got sucked into this, you haters just cannot let it go. Yes ESO has/had bugs, I do not even know anymore. For the record Wildstar has a nasty memory leak that I rarely see reported here. Funny how people like to let that slide eh?

Holy &*(). I didn't respond to anything about ESO, I responded to you saying it's based on what's good and what's bad. I said it's based on what the reviewer likes or dislikes (opinion), not some universal criteria of good and bad because there is none.

All one really needs to have fun in any game is an equal number of friends to play the opposing side and an equal number of friends to play on your side. Instant action. It's what MMOs attempt to create for you artificially, but people spend so much time leeching players from other games to play theirs that none of them have enough players. Just pick a game and play it, stop shopping around for new games all the time. You're making this all harder than it needs to be. Square peg, round hole sort of thing.

ROFL..You made no point that countered anything I said, I think you might want to reverse that one on to yourself. You're the one that tried changing (our conversation) into something else after all.
Here's where our conversation started...in case you're lost which it seems you are... As you can see it's perfectly on point to what you said...
Deathsmind....."Or maybe they base it on how good a game is...A game that a majority quit playing due to bugs in the game or a game that is very well polished...Which would you play? "
Me..."Maybe they base it on the games they like? Saying they base it on what's good implies there is some universal means of identifying a good or bad game. There isn't, outside of a game not working at all, or having no actual gameplay to comment on."

89/100 or not, that's how useless reviews actually are. The pvp is more casual then GW2, everyone is invited to it from 10 years to 99.
For PVE they might had "hardcore" content, but the combat for pvp just don't work for strategic plays. It's more a small fun for shorttime what they deliever with the pvp content.
I guess you just only want to change the conversation. Let me know when you can discuss something without changing the conversation anytime you are not happy with how its going for you.
