Well, if you are looking for a true sandbox you shouldn't be here in the first place. AA is a sandpak, what's mean?
Asian developers aren't able to make sandbox how we all know here in the west, their skills are build around true themeparks with grind and farm in mind masked as quest. AA is the max they can do as a sandbox, infact is sandbox only for a 20%, as an endgame through housing and sieges.
Tab-1-2-3 smashing buttons, classes, and hub quest don't help.
Since i can digest themepark in a certain degree i'm fine with AA as a classic mmorpg, nothing less nothing more.
That's a lot of "I didn't play the game, but it's an Asian MMO so it's terrible."
So the game is similar to L2, which was your best experience, is made by the same guy that made L2, is also Asian, and has a lot of silly grunting and moaning.
L2 was one of my favorites,and I think your opinion is totally worthless. That's my worthless opinion.
Or is it because your female character wasn't all breast and panty shots out the gate. I'm betting that's why you keep praising L2, and trolling AA.

Its fine that you don't like the game. I'm sure many share the same opinion. the big difference is how shallow your opinion is, then taking a shot at Asian game developers as though you could do something better. They make games based on what they feel their target audience would like, and I doubt you were their target audience
Also, based on another one of your posts in this thread you mention something about a level 2 character??? your entire opinion about a game is based on what you learned going from level 1 to level 2?
was there really a point to this thread besides you making it clear you don't like Asian games
The irony is that it is the OP who comes off as immature, not the games whose voice action he cites as a reason for said immaturity.
Maybe you should learn to construct proper sentences before you criticise the developers for developing bad games

I see the same dudes bashing everyone who says a word negative about any game on these forums. They play everything and know everything. These guys talk to much with their high post counts consisting of garbage regurgitated platitudes of nonsense towards these cookie cutter money factory mmos being released the last few years. These same people defended ff14 with tooth and nail when it came out regardless of it's obvious rip off sales tactics. More people need to speak clearly and truthfully about their early experiences in the games. First impressions are supremely important. If it takes 2 weeks to start enjoying a game you play for enjoyment you're getting ripped off. Thanks for your input. Stay honest.

There is so much fail in this one paragraph, i can't tell if its funny at this point or just plain sad.
First you say the game is terrible because of some sounds.
Only 4 races (btw its 8 races. The other 4 are, Warborn, Dwarfs, Fairies, Returned.)
Classes seem boring. (120 class combinations but whatever)
Fighting looks stupid (you have a lvl 2 so you have extensive knowledge of the games combat)
Then you go on to discuss the "mentality" of western/Aisan gamers and how this game will fail because of (add your reason here) then continue to say how your best MMO experience came from L2. THEN said that AA is similar too L2...
So tell me again why anyone should take your "review" seriously?
Let me see. Admits to never playing a Asian MMO, watched "some" vid,SS etc, agrees with the OP that has a lvl 2 charterer, then has sympathy for those that "settled" for AA.
And you have a problem with me asking him what game it is that he has settled for and make a snide comment about font color and gifs. I have another gif got you.
Not at all I just think you guys should add more flamingos and perhaps a few more rainbows and sparkles to your act.
Well, you're doing better, at least you dislike the game for more than the combat sounds.
Can't argue with your first point, atm there are only 4 races, promise of more, but who knows?. Classes are pretty cool when you combine the 3 different skill trees that each can have, but that might not be of interest to you. Fighting is pretty conventional tab targeting, so if that's not your style and prefer more action combat then yes, this isn't the game for you.
Definitely not the WOW killer, doubt I've heard anyone say this, clearly a niche title but might do just as well as L2 did, at least here in the West.
I think the word average might be more fitting, but if you wish to use hyperbole to describe it, no one can stop you.

this is sort of a problem for these forums. People say things or ask things but they are never specific. Then the discussion goes "'round and 'round" and eventually the heart of the matter is discovered.

I am clearly picking up what you're laying down here. The game is to similar to other failed Asian games. Check. The game feels regurgitated in it's systems. Check. You think it's to immature. Check. You couldn't get very far into it without stopping. Check. All very good points worthy of respect. I'm not sure what's so difficult to understand.
By not going into any details, you open up the discussion. Think about it, how much more open ended can you get with "It's terrible"? That can mean almost anything, thus the discussion can go in a gazillion different directions... which means it will stay at the top of the recently visited threads page much much longer. Which was the objective all along.
OP, I guess you did not get the memo. You are not allowed to trash any game in here unless it is called ESO and SWTOR.
You will get blasted on all angles if you voice your opinion like everyone bashing you did with those 2 games.

.. Its not the sort of review I would consider taking seriously, but everyone is entitled to their opinion and if he wants to hate an MMO because "the sound is bad" more power to him.
Played quite a few western mmo's and i was shocked how bad the latests batch of these mmo's were.
They dint even last longer then 3 weeks before the carrot on a stick mechanic kicked in and made me unsub and run away realy hard.
Yet with Archage 5 months russian server and 6 weeks alpha i still cant get enough of it.
Maybe its you OP ?
