I really like AA now. I will happily pay for patronstatus AND prob get a better glider and so on. I am happy to support games I enjoy and spend parts of my life inside......
If we pay for the good ones....maybe they make more of them? Its not alot they ask for really. If you have steady Income.....
Another "free loader". They give you a F2P game and still can't be happy. Yes it might take a little work to get everything you want for free but why don't you just say you are lazy? The games today are awesome compared to what was out 5 years ago and you still can't be happy, and they are actually free. So a company as you to pay a little to get in early and you freak out. I'm so sick of this, pay some money if you want to, or not. I have a better idea just don't play the game but stop complaining because a company tries to get some people to pay some money to support them. It's people like you that mess it up for everyone because you are so cheap. I'm tired of people freaking out because maybe they have to pay 15 or 10 a month to make a game more enjoyable for themselves. The gaming industry is not here to make just you happy and they need money to keep a game going, PERIOD.
Path of exile does sell advantages in their cash shop. They're not major but they do exist in the game (extended storage space).
You're just grasping at straws with that and you know it (as shown by you're "they're not major" comment)
I'm not grasping at anything, it's a minor advantage to paying for the game and I'm fine with that. I'm fine with paying 1,000's of dollars over time if need be. As long as the game is good enough for me to support it I will do so.

are you trying to say that companies have to limit their options to shameless greed in order to survive? and then to us being OK with it as consumers?
If so, No ty. There are better ways to do marketing and survive than pure greed. If its not a win-win for both sides, its bad business.

If it's free to play then Im all for that . If I enjoy the game I will obviously consider spending money .
If the game is limited too much without spending money then I probably won't play because Im not going to fork out $100 a week on one game .

Adapt or don't play the game.
If you want "balanced" mmorpgs grab one with a subscription and without any cash shops.
1) WoW
2) FFXI or FFXIV
Or play a game from another genre that is balanced or somewhat "balanced".
3) League of Legends or Dota 2
4) Path of Exile or Diablo 3
5) Any FPS game.
MMORPG market has been mostly ruined and the only thing you can do is support subscription only MMORPGs or ADAPT.
