Is there word that it will be released on PC? I know my husband had it pre-ordered for the ps4 and I'd love to play with him but.. well two tv's and consoles isn't exactly reasonable to me. I'd hold out for a pc version by all means. I do kinda fear that the systems and pc wouldn't be on the same servers though. =/

I can see people think consoles are like the old days.. The fact is the new consoles are like a PC now a days... I do not understand plus why wait for PC version most people do not play MMO's together anymore, they would rather solo..

Bungie's agreement with Activision requires all Destiny titles after the first to have a PC version. Google the doc if you're interested. They haven't said anything about the first in a positive light at all - I doubt it will see a PC version.

I'm still debating whether or not to get it for the PS4. I certainly won't hold my breath for a PC release. To be a little honest, I'd be surprised to see it for PC before Christmas 2015...if then. Compared to consoles, PC game sales for cross platform games are minimal. Console outsells PC by a landslide.
Sure games may look absolutely beautiful on PC and the modding community will keep games alive for years, but the brunt of the gaming public seemingly could care less. Consoles are drastically more inexpensive than most gaming PCs and they are more or less hassle free. Which seems to be what the gaming public cares about.

I want to play so bad. It's aesthetic and lore has a certain je ne sais quoi. Oh who am I kidding? I'm a sucker for magic and high technology. But PC is the only way I'll ever be able to play it.
I was just about to buy the game after watching some videos and reading the homepage. then I noticed that there was no PC version, and I was just like "nooo, noone would make a MMO only for consoles, I'm just missing something".
I enjoy shooters but I have to admit I'm rubbish at playing them and i'm even worse with a controller compared to a keyboard and mouse. I like the look of Destiny but due to my own incompetence I will have to wait for it to come out on PC.
I haven't invested in a next gen console yet. I'm waiting for the back catalogue to grow before I buy one.

Destiny PC version? You'll be waiting for a long time, if they do release a PC version. Go on EBgames and look on Destiny, if they were working or even planning on releasing a Pc version it would of been listed as "Coming soon" , but the PC version isn't even listed and isn't even talked about. So if you really want to play Destiny I suggest you either buy a PS4 and XBOX 1, if you already have any of those, go buy the console version because I highly doubt you'll be seeing this on PC since Destiny is a console exclusive, business move to force people on buying consoles, which is working by the way because 6 of my friends pre ordered the Destiny / PS4 bundle package this past week end. But seriously, don't set your mind on seeing this released for PC because you'll end up going postal. Your best source on knowing if Destiny will be released for PC is by checking EBgames once a month. If it isn't listed, don't expect it within 6 months. TESO console is listed on EBgames with a release date of 31/12/2014, meaning they don't know when the game will be ready for console but it is OFFICIAL that a console version is releasing of TESO.

I'll agree with you there, but only if I have friends. Of my small cabal of friends I alone have a console from the current generation of them. So if I want to play with friends I'm stuck waiting for the pc version to come out. Not that I have that many pc friends mind you, my SC org is pretty much three lazy bums, crickets, and me trying to get the others to make us look good to get more people. So I fear destiny won't be much better on pc for me than it'd be on console.
Plus I dont like that all populations are confined to what console you have.
Well getting Destiny for PC is just the same thing? you are confining yourself to just the PC Destiny population.

For Example, I love my Assassins Creed games on PC due to higher graphics, but the multiplayer is so dead on PC i rather not waste my money on them and play it on consoles. Same goes to the ghost recon franchise (not the crappy F2P game they have now). But i guess thats Ubisoft being a PC hater.
honestly i think this is one of the most overhyped games ive seen in all my long years of gaming.there is absolutely nothing new about this game at all,mostly instanced,yes graphics are shiny but thats it,ive watched countless twitch streams to try see what the fascination is but i just dont get it.i wish it the best of luck but seriously i think gamers are desperate for the next big thing and will jump on anything,
Don't own a console, never have done, so if it doesn't come out on PC I won't be playing it. Having said that, this is a far cry from the MMO some are making it out to be. Personally I don't even qualify it as an MMO. Like Bungie have said themselves, it's not an MMO, it's a persistant online shooter.
If it turns out to be a decent shooter AND if it comes out on PC I'll probably give it a go. But I can hardly say I'm "holding out". I'm far more interested in http://toxikk.com
