Don't all new games suffer from too many servers at about the 2 month after release mark? You have all those players who just play their free month and then quit.
Long as Wildstar stays at 200,000 subs it's a success, IMO.
Nope not all of them.
Any example other than Wow?
FFXIV has been constantly adding servers since launch, there's 64 now. A bunch of them are still locked out most of the time.
As has been mentioned elsewhere and often in these forums, the focus on "hardcore" raiding for endgame will doom any mmorpg in today's market to a very small niche.
At WoW's height of popularity, what percentage of the player base was into "hardcore" raiding?
According to Blizzard's own admittance very few percentage of people participated in hardcore raiding in comparison to total population. But then again it has been 8 years now and that kind of raiding doesn't seem to be popular anymore.
Where's this "admittance" by Blizzard? Link please.
Not sure if this counts, but Zarhym implied that in WoW multiple diffculty levels enable raids to be seem by more than 2% of players.
So did you manage to find a server OP? if you take my advice, just quit for now and come back when mega servers are launched. No point infuriating yourself jumping from one empty server to another. Population is in sad state right now so save your money and wait.

WS failed when they got way from character development and turned to the item chase.
all good games we played were always about the character. adding stats, picking skills, etc.
WS did this cookie cutter crap with lack of skills to choose so you get everyone bored with the game in no time.
I played this in beta and quickly dropped this game, never to look back.
there is no way to replace the fun and attachment of growing your chatracter in a game, chasing items is not the same by any means.
