Those new servers brought some truth(s) out. All we heard was "I cant log in" "I cant play with my guild" "I cant play with my friends" "I have a 20 hour queue" " I cant find land" "Headstart is a joke I havent been able to play any of it".
So if any or all of those things were actually true why not reroll on a new server? And bring your friends or some of your firends with you?
Now I can see it if youre in a massive established guild that plays ALL games toegther and has for a long time. But other than that if any of the complaints we have seen are true just reroll.
I did, and I didnt have half the issues other than the inability to find land on my original server. I also got there and after two crashes within the first hour I played for 14 hours straight. NO crashes no disconnects no lag. I got that new toon fresh on a new server up to level 32. My guy I started day one and as soon as I could get on was 'only' level 34. So I didnt lose anything actually, other than the one time chests, and the gold they gave.
Yeah I had to pay for slot, didnt like that too much but whatever.
That server is also one of the most laid back and GRATEFUL servers I have seen in an MMO. Its like a server made up of rescue animals or something. No pissing and moaning no complaining, no stupid shit. Everyone got land not many got crazy greedy, and even 16 hours after the server was up abotut half the free for all land available was still open.
Either way I was pretty critical of Trion and XL. Still am for alot of things, but opening up a couple servers was a great way to start heading in the right direction.
Now there really is ZERO excuse for people who claim they cant get land, because as of servers going down for the hotfix there were whole maps of empty housing space still available. The only map close to full was two crowns and even that had dozens of 16x16 areas left just not 'prime' location.
I know people like to bitch for no reason but these new servers separated the bullshit and hubris from reality.

Agreed. They opened a new server and people are still complaining about the queue and lack of land on their server. If they really don't like it so much, they can reroll. But they don't. They'd rather complain.
