Actually this looks sort of cool although I wish video had gone into more detail on how exactly it breaks canon  (like just being an original story or does a bunch of stuff happen in it that should not happen in the setting?)

Never played AssCreed  and don't really want to but the nemesis system has me interested.

I maybe the last or maybe the first of a weird breed.  While I prefer keyboard and mouse, I don't have nay issues with a controller.   I just want a good game.  I am concerned about a crappy pc port as has happened before with different games.  I will take a wait and see approach before any type of commitment.

Well for PC good thing you can use a controller. I use a PS2 controller with x350ce to emulate a 360 controller. No worries about key and mouse issues with ports.

    Game looks amazing.

Games that are primarily designed to play with a controller immediately get downgraded in my book.  It makes the UI mediocre at best and gameplay the same.

I really don't know why people even buy consoles since they are already outdated.  Just seems a waste of money to me.

Thanks for the review though, you changed my mind to not buy it now.

Because some games are written exclusively for consoles and are worth playing ie:- Red Dead Redemption.

Reviewed a console what a joke(used to be mainly PC site) and then saying it should be played with controller so it means badly ported to PC AGAIN.

Thanks for that controller info my wallet stay closed.

Not to mention the price and on launch day DLC seen prices on steam out regeous prices) what a joke games are released these days.

Seems Arena net with GW2 is one of few of company's left, giving the game for one time buy and rest is FREE forever.

So many games released so little i buy these days because don't give my money to money grabbing bastards(Destiny seems one of worsed ever btw)

Hope to build full AMD system RYZEN/VEGA/AM4!!!

    CPU:Intell Icore7 3770k
GPU: AMD Fury X(waiting for BIG VEGA 10 or 11 HBM2?(bit unclear now))
    MEMORY:Corsair PLAT.DDR3 1866MHZ 16GB
    PSU:Corsair AX1200i
    OS:Windows 10 64bit

I like how you changed the parameters of the review to remove innovation and blend audio into visuals too.

Going to re-review Destiny under these parameters now?

Let's see - best music and sound in years

-first game of it's kind = definition of innovation so....

Different reviewers and different genres, Spock. I know you love Destiny, and that's cool. But this isn't the place to come in and be upset about the score it was given. Do that over at the Destiny review.

Back on topic, Skuall: I never played AC on the PC.  Is it really ported alright?  Might have to try Unity on the PC, if so.

AC on the PC is a piss poor port, I hope this isn't the same.

I see it's out on Steam.

Game is fully bindable and plays much better with a keyboard and mouse (for me) One of my sons has the XBone version and the PC version kicks ass.

My oldest boy who lives on his own has the steam version along with me. I was quite amused, when I loaded the game this morning I had a couple "Vendetta Missions" I then went and killed the two Orcs that killed my son in his game. We had a good chuckle over it lol.

    Very entertaining game.

Slave labour eh... in Canada? K....

Although I'm totally against big business taking advantage of our labour laws concerning foreign workers. I dont think you could call it slave labour. They must abide with our minimum wage laws etc. etc. You also cannot underpay trades people etc. There was an interesting case of Mexican construction tradesmen  who were underpaid according to Canadian Standards and the Labour Relations Board ruled the company must make up the pay.

Have a look at the labels on your clothing.

Maybe you better change your clothes. I wonder if you know or care that millions of the worker's who make clothing in asia earn about $40.00 U.S. a month and thats for an adult, never mind the child labour.

If you want a crusade, I think thats a better industry to start it in.

I have been playing this game, nearly non stop, since I got it.  I have been playing with a controller.  I love it.  While it may not be ground breaking they seem to have put it all together  amazingly well.

I got it for PC and have been playing with mouse and keyboard with no problems so far. It's great!

I did an entire play through on the PC and the PC controls are perfectly fine. The PC version also has higher resolution texture pack available for it on Steam.

I've been playing on the PC and I have to say it doesn't even feel like a port. Very well done, very controllable with a mouse+KB.

    Absolutely loving it.

All these great comments are good.  Heard other comments as well which were positive on other sites about the PC version.  Definitely putting this game on my list.
  • MichielMichiel Member UncommonPosts: 235

Just wanted to comment that it's definately worth the purchase. I bought a pre-order Steam key half price on the internet which makes it even more of a sweet deal. Great games like these deserve to be purchased (and I can do it while thinking about my wallet at the same time, hehe) because in the end it's in our best interest to encourage developers/companies to make more games like these.

I give this game a 2. It's not even a 'real'  game. Just runs on rails and sometimes you click a mouse. So little to no  control over  your combat. Of course, I play on a PC, and this looks and feels like it was optimized for consoles. Very disappointed with this game.  Want my money back.

What I find hard to believe is how some think this IS a good game. It's mediocre at  best.

Plays A LOT better on a PC than on a console, you can't aim those headshots the same way on the consoles. Actually, I can only imagine how frustrating it can be to do some of the bow missions on the console.

yup , i prefer to play on PC for this reason , if the game has some aiming nothing beats a mouse , plus even if u still want to use a gamepad u can , i played lots of games using gamepad 0 issues.

finished the game yesterday using keyb and mouse and enjoyed it a lot

I had no problem using the bow for headshots with a gamepad,  I usually stealth kill all the trash mob around the captain one after the other doing headshots.  Its just a matter of personal skill and theres no sticky targeting either.
