"With this softcap removal, they are doing a complete rebalance of the game. No more will we see Light Armor builds that surpass the ability of a heavy armor build. If it is damage reduction you want, you should be wearing heavy armor, as it only makes sense."
NICE!!!!!!! when is it being implemented? might have to hop on my toon again and start prepping
I they keep with the normal schedule it will the first or second week of next month.
I predict solid disappointment when the justice system is finally released. Why? Because nothing released so far in the game has even remotely been as cool or engaging as it appeared 'on paper' (see Craglorn for a particularly salient example). The execution has every time fallen far short of the hype.
That being said I echo the writer's issue with the tabard. I know of a guild that already garrisons Ebonheart City and dresses up like the guards there, it would suck to see those outfits ruined by a tabard. I know they won't be partaking sadly if they keep that tabard aspect.
Just an over-the-head tag like in Cyrodiil would also work.
Beyond that, I think the whole resurrecting on the spot from being killed by an enforcer is kinda bogus, if you get killed in a city you shouldn't be able to just respawn right there, I would say you should get locked out of the nearest wayshrine for like 5 minutes if an Enforcer kills ya.
Also hoping to see Stage 4 vampirism and Werewolf turning be a crime.

Sounds pretty damn fun. Going to be a rough start to it I imagine until they work out all the kinks and balancing. Both DB and Thieves guilds play nicely into this and hopefully housing too in a noninvasive way.
I wonder what the percentage of outlaws will be that is non-nightblade.

Please don't spread this garbage. This is far from true, you clearly haven't played the game. Tanks are still one of the most important roles in the game and absolutely needed. Tanking does work differently though in that they don't take all of the aggro like in other games. The DPS don't just pew pew in this game, they have to pay attention.
I am a Templar Tank and would NEVER go cloth. So again, please don't spread this garbage and lead people astray.
Been back in ESO for 2 months after taking a 2 month break and loving the pvp still. If more systems like this, the champion system, and the Imperial City release soon I won't need to play those silly SWTOR or WoW expanions.

It's very easy to find the game for far less than the list price. I paid £10 ($15) for it, including the Explorer's pack about a month ago. That's basically the cost of the included 30 days.
By look never at least ZoS is show that you still can care for mmo without go F2P or B2P or add cash shop into a mmo ESO are how a mmo was once upon a time and not all this B2P, F2P cash shop addon into mmo.
The people that haven't played the game need to stop talking, along with everyone asking about B2P/F2P. You're not getting your grubby mitts on our game.
Now I wonder how grouping will work between the thiefs and guard charecters will they not be able to be in a party? and sorry if It was explained in the article I read it I swear lol.
And the only thing from keeping me from going back is the group content and the craglorn farming I was definitly not a fan of that because bosses were wayyyyyy to easy with 100 ppl stacked on them. Plus the story was horrible in the fact that they just threw you into another alliance that was probably there worst decision in my book because it had no purpose. But the game looks like its doing great and im proud I just wish those would change so I could come back.

It's really only that bad when the update first comes out and all the grinders hop on. It's quite peaceful otherwise. The hard part is getting a group together - but that's what Guilds are for.
You'll probably also love the new Undaunted dailies and dungeon scaling for your "end-game" enjoyment.
Cant wait, been waiting for this. For me this is much more important than the Champion system as far as how much impact it will have on my personal gameplay. I never had a problem with the vet system, have multiple characters max level with no issue. Champ system sounds cool, but falls below Justice and Spellcrafting on my list of priorities.
And its no speculation that the justice system will come into play with the two new guilds: Thieves and Dark Brotherhood. Everytime someone asked about when the guilds would come into the game, the answer was always "After the justice system". They didnt try to hide that they needed the justice system in place, working and polished, before adding in the guilds.
The tabards is a bad idea. Im not a role-player, and couldnt care less about it taking my costume slot, or not "representing" my guild. Anyone who PVPs now, or takes part in Cyrodill already doesnt wear a tabard. They are completely broken, and allow for you to be seen while stealthed. If you ever get killed in Cyrodiil, and you thought you were stealthed, but they saw you anyways... its because of your guild tabard. Not sure how much stealth is going to matter, but it sounds like it will be a part of the system, so much so they have to rework it to allow for same faction stealthing. Will be meaningless if the tabards are not also fixed at the same time.

Yeah, sounds great on paper but in-game I've got a feeling it will be a different experience and nothing more than an excuse for open world pvp.
Probably the one thing that would make me want to play on an RP server...if only ESO didn't have the megaserver structure.
Think about it, nobody wants to die, there's rules to this game son, I'm justified.
I they keep with the normal schedule it will the first or second week of next month.
This is going to be AMAZING!

So, when will this be LIVE in game???

Oh just break down and sub already, Jeez. $15 today is nothing compared to 15 years ago when it was a lot of money.
So don't fall into the hype pit.

This sounds fun and more like the Elder Scrolls game we were hoping for.
Now if they would only fix some of the major design problems with the game, especially the grouping tools and quest sharing, I'd check it out again.
Ouch, still trying to get $69 for the game ($99 for CE) then an ongoing sub ZeniMax?
You really need to lower that barrier to entry to get new blood in by now. Pass.
Not really, game is jumping with people. I'm sure when they start struggling they'll lower the bar. Right now, no need.

Great work on ESO! Every update is bringing the game closer to it's Elder Scrolls roots!
Resubbed yesterday after a couple month break
Also, I have to add it...PLAYER HOUSING! FFXIV has great player housing already. Bring this game into the modern world!
It's great how much work they're putting into the game post launch, not just adding more of the same zones.
I didn't play at launch, but I know there were loads of issues. It's nice to see them turning it around.
