this game is so different from all other mmos, it might be epic and fresh and fun...
Best MMO experiences : EQ(PvE), DAoC(PvP), WoW(total package) LOTRO (worldfeel) GW2 (Artstyle and animations and worlddesign) SWTOR (Story immersion) TSW (story) ESO (character advancement)

So if blizzard modded their diablo franchise they could have 3 mmos.
Dunno if I like this kind of mmo. Its kind of like UO as well but of course better graphics and animations... at least UO was an MMO in many regards considering the mechanics of the game.
If this diablo-eque style of game has UO mechanics then imo, it will surely be fun but also not be in diablo's shadow so much from my perspective.
However, seeing the limited action bar, it already sets itself apart from UO and more with diablo.
Looks fun... just questioning whether I would like the story. I guess I kind of like diablo lore story telling even if its been done quite a bit.

I don't think he realizes it's meant to be a sequel to Lineage 1 not Lineage 2.
I dont know why you might think that. Lineage 1 and 2 were both heavy open world. Sure Lineage 1 was more diabolish, but thats how mmos were back then.
THe new Lineage on the other hand seems to have a story mission- those kind of enviroments are impossible t make in a open world mmo. They need to be personal. Its a clear attack to the Diablo 3 franchise.
Oh well, maybe Tree of Savior might be the one.

As someone else said, Lost Ark looks better.
game looks really cool, but it looks like another point and click to move game.
What are the appeals to that?? I just cant do it, too conditioned to my control over wasd movement i guess.

I don't see it as a step backwards at all.
It's just another way to move one's character. Given that Diablo 3, as well as Pathfinder, both have "click to move" and both are contemporary games, it stands to reason that it's as viable as any movement system.
If one wanted one could make an argument that WASD was an inefficient movement system because it requires the use of three fingers and the possibility of those fingers becoming misplaced on the keyboard whereas "point to click" requires one action for movement as well as targeting and little room for error.
Which might actually be the real reason it's used. It's very efficient.

Another PvE content dependent ARPG themepark with grouping. I doubt it will be of better value than Path of Exile since it's free.
Anyways, I highly doubt they will keep up pumping that content or make their game truly competitive. I wish the best for their game.

On topic, game looks pretty sweet. Hopefully they start releasing more info, as the last trailer was what, a year or two ago? I'd honestly almost completely forgotten about it.

The video sure looks like an unadulterated D3 clone without the 1998 graphics.... but then again, the idea of ncsoft east putting out a game that didn't feature a heavy amount of open world pvp seems odd. I'm still holding out some hope they'll bringing in some of the features that made L1 so successful.
I wasn't trolling in the slightest, I was referring to the auction house you mentioned aka pay2win aka mays well have been a cash shop aka ruined the game.
