Re-done the whole "nostalgia" already and as much as I loved this game time and time again in the 90's, I just couldn't get through it this time. I think a reboot, put the entire game as it is into an new engine, without changing the game could show the new generation a true classic. Anything else, well I'm just not sure of the point of. I have a feeling it's just not going to be well received being we've gone this route already. Throw a $5.99 price tag on it and it might get some attention, but probably minimal.

I played FF7 when it was released. It was a great game, but it has a legion of fans who treat it like some holy grail of RPGs, when in reality it was a bit weak compared to its predecessors (it followed on the heels of FF6 and Chrono Trigger, both games that are usually vying for the #1 spot in greatest lists).
The game needs to be put to rest. If any of the FF line could use an HD remake, it would be either FF6 or the original FF1.

I don't see what was so special about this game over the other final fantasies (Beating it myself and also downing the world guardians etc.)

Honestly starting to get a bit sick of all the re-releases.
I personally did not shell out all this money to have one remake re-release after another.
I want the new cutting edge game design they promised when marketing this console.

I actually would love a remake of final fantasy 12 for pc with maybe coop.
