I agree with this 100%, Its to bad so many people dont know how bad ass asherons call really was/is. its really unique and had alot of great ideas that i cant believe other MMOs havnt copied.
Heh. SWG 2... To be honest when I want to choose something I always say to myself: 'okay, only one to exist, everything else will never happen'. This way I am with you guys. SWTOR not a sequel or prequel - it's just another game.
But questions like 'where is EQ sequel' are valid too. And yes, I want to see sequel of WoW. Blizzard are good team, it is disappointing that they closed Titan.
Ahhhh, the VN boards, official RvR smacktalk forum for DAoC. I have many fond memories from that forum. When people talk about 'realm pride', they are referring to what was generated on the VN boards.
Yes, UO and SWG remade please. The way I prefer it ofc (especially in the case of SWG where I would like to see a mix of preNGE and NGE, for example, I want both creature handler and bio engineering )
Oh forgot to add, I don't care if they stay niche. Forget about state of the art graphics for my part. Gameplay > rest. But then, I like games like modded Minecraft and the upcoming Rimworld a lot.
Gonna join Diovid and say that GW1 deserves a most proper and new sequel with a similar feel. Also, TSW, AoC and Lotro are all games I would play a re-release or sequel too.
Shadowbane, Anarchy Online and Asheron's Call (in the spirit of the first game, not the second.) I'd put City of Heroes on the list, because I do enjoy the original IP used, but I still enjoy Champions Online from time to time-just logging in and looking at my toons is #goodtimes. Not sure what my fifth game would be... Hellgate: London or Lord of the Rings, I suppose. Not sure I'm clamoring for a DAoC 2 since Camelot Unchained has over $3 million pledged.

haha Sadly this is true. SWG 2 was the first game that came to mind for me. However, it will most likely not happen in the next 10 years if ever.
I will recommend some S. Korean mmos that deserve a sequel.
