Sigh, gaming is in a sad state right now.

Maybe the divison can do well. I hope so anyway.

I know...I read that list and about cried. /s

Honestly it was exactly what I was expecting. Guild Wars 2 and FFXIV: ARR released with perfect timing. There really aren't any other reputable MMOs to get into. I mean there's WildStar, but I would be surprised to hear someone wanting to play WildStar over FFXIV.

I think the proper expression is that MMOs are best consumed with a keyboard and mouse. Platform is irrelevant.

Also, side note, this list was so pathetic I thought it was EMO for minute...then I realized that it was me getting depressed...

To top it off you have The Division as the top MMO?  That gets a -10 for the entire silly article.  Then to compound your gross errors in judgement you put none of the indie games on the list.

The writing on this site is going downhill fast.  A really sad state of affairs.

I disagree. Many people play FF XIV on console. Many play DCUO on console.

With the cross of Windows 10/XBox One there may soon be little difference between the two (both PS4 and XBox One are built on PC Hardware). There is also the upcoming Steam Machine platform, which may also bring some more MMO's to the console market.

Easy way to prove my point.  I have Dragon Age Inquisition on both Xbox One and PC.  The game play is night and day better on the PC verses the Xbox.  I don't dispute that many people play these games on console, but they just do not know what they are missing.  These studios that make console only games are just clueless children.

Now you can see why I have been avoiding this site like the plague that list was utter shite,no Black Desert

And having been on the original  The Repopulation pre-alpha Alpha testing team in the early days I am amazed it's not considered after going back into the game after months because the testing was one hell of a rocky road JC and the gang seem to have finally cracked it.

A proper installer, the combat brought back memories of the brilliant Tabula Rasa, animation reworked, and so much more,I did have my doubts but not now Repop is one to watch out for along with Black Desert in 2015.

Well most of them are just expansion. It seems 2015 is sleepy year for MMO.

Anyway, see you in Heavensward. I will play dark knight.

You actually sound like a clueless child, no one said they are better or worse. You said "what clueless someone plays MMOs on a console" there are plenty of people and they are not clueless for doing so. You have proven nothing other than you are still wearing pampers.

Wtf does Dragon Age Inquisition have to do with it lmfao, at least use an MMO in your defence, who clueless! Lmfao.

Landmark I don't believe deserves a place on this list. It's at best a spin off using mechanics to test for Everquest Next, and providing a platform for players to help development build the game. Unfortunately, with all the problems of late and the creation of Daybreak, I've an uneasy feeling we'll never get to see EQN as what it was touted to be.

Still that's besides the point. Landmark I don't think deserves a place here.

It's also sad that Crowfall is currently the top voted game in development on this site. Although I have not played the beta, it seems like a sci-fi version of Neverwinter. And we all know how generic Neverwinter is.

This is a dissapointing list I'm afraid. Not an ounce of true innovation in anything presented here. To play any of them would seem to me like playing the same old games again with a different window dressing.

I'll wait and see what black desert comes out like when it comes to the west.

But i'm feeling gloomy about the offerings.

What about Kingdom Under Fire 2? Black Desert Online? This list is full with already released games. Or is it just that the two that i said are not yet set for 2015?

    Definitely waiting for Division.

    Shards Online FTW!!!!

    this list is BEYOND TERRIBLE.

3 OF THE GAMES ARE EVEN "RELEASES" and the #1 isnt an MMO. I hope you didnt pay money for this article. Massively's demise should have taught you something.

You must be joking, right? It's surely the great example of how to do pay-to-win right.

that footage is fake... is taked from another game with mods of the division, u can google it :P

video is from a Just Cause 2 mod pack. It's not the Division.

You seem to be quite optimistic about Landmark. I wish LM/EQN well, but I - same as many -stopped holding my breath long time ago.

Besides ESO con (so low on list? you are in for a big surprise) and SotA (aren`t they still in alpha? did they announce launch in 2015, or is it common to consider paid beta as launch nowadays??), there is not much on it I`m interested in.

In fact, I am more excited about Camelot/Crowfall alpha/betas.

     W...aaagh?

Are warhammer and shroud really releasing this year?

  • Stone_FountainStone_Fountain Member UncommonPosts: 233
I am looking forward to SoTA but that's it.

    Two words: The Repopulation.

Nothing else even comes close. An original, indie MMO with arguably the most sophisticated crafting system in the universe, and getting better every day. And speeder bikes. How can anyone argue with speeder bikes?

The rest of your list is just pathetic.
