The never ending problem. Creating longevity in a severly limited themepark MMO. The 'adventure zones' were a laughable idea. Using rehashed content and at the same time destroying replayability. It will never be enough when only devs can create new content. Too slow , too few.
Only WoW seems to be able to pull this off in a themepark. Weird though, how their similar approach to what newer MMO's fail at, still works for Blizzard. Other companies are probably very jealous of Blizzard with their loyal fans
Its good to see the devs actually addressing issues and making deep changes, this is what a sub system should give - the opportunity to plan ahead with bigger changes. Blizzard take note.

In first instance the champion system sounds like a ripped-off-dumbed-down version of ffxi's merit point system.
That's totally fine though (no really!). Any kind of horizontal progression is a good thing. Let's just hope it's not limited to crappy stuff like "+1% resistance" but actual skills and meaningful passives.
Just... please put some thought into it so you dont have cookie-cutter distributions of said champion points. Just.. some... thought... please....
Winning a discussion is not what it's about. If you could pass insight to someone or learn something from it in return - noone can really loose, can they?
cool, after playing the 1st month and realising that the game had no legs, It was a no brainer to unsubscribed. Im definately going to resubscribe during my december/january holidays to play through all the new content and changes..hopefully theres been enough change to keep me interested and motivated to stay. As a side note, I love the $15 subscription model over the micro transaction or pay to win models, make the game so much more classier. IMO.
Any grind is too much grind, if my characters need to level from 1-50 still I'm not interested.
If they ever make it 100% skill based, then I'll give it another try.
I hear you man. I swore off questing a couple years ago. I gritted my teeth, made it to level 10, then pvp'd all the way home, minus about 5 levels hear and there.
BUT PEOPLE WHO DON'T PLAY AS MUCH AS ME SHOULD MOST DEFINITELY BE LEFT AT THE WAY SIDE. I'm so tired of people giving trophies to everyone on the team even if they don't show up. This is a huge problem in society as a whole and frankly that's a big problem with mmos also. Everything else sounds great though I will be playing.

Maybe it just me, but this really dont look like that big of a update and/or change.
However, it does seem like a step in the right direction and so I keep watching and if they get to a good lvl one day. I will resub.
Also for anyone who tries to attack me base off my statement, if you dont say something constructed then I will not reply back.
Excellent.
-K.
"Something constructed."
