    I think you missed my point... Even if we for a second accept the proposed idea of you having a understand of the subject... I pointed out that when it comes to what is and is not a mental disorder... I big amount of scepsis need to be applied. 

     

    As for it being body mutilation... That only applies of the recipient is unvilling... elsewise it is body modification.

    Nit picker if ever there was one. Yes there are some forms that are beneficial and needed but what my generallization is aimed at is the medically not needed cosmetic surgery.

    so for you making a surgery on a functioning but aesthetically not pleasing face is a mutilation? just asking because i honestly see this case to be less persuasive to go under the knife than if you are a transgender person

    you don't function well either in physiological or social sense (or both in the case of a transgender person)

    I asked a question and did not give you a response to your question about the scare. Answering my own question no the scare removal would not be a needed surgery. 

    I was brought up that one should love themselves first and foremost. I cannot see how someone could love something they wish to destroy and remake.

    yes I think it was the plant couple (but they are bisexual anyways). now this is passé and they needed to show how they care about social issues in another way ... somehow I now have an urge to buy something from their cash shop image

    Well there is not much else to discuss... You are entiteld to your opinions as long as you respect that others do not and you refrain from degrading them for their choice. (this seems to be the case for the most part =) ) 

     

    And you have a snowballs chance in hell to sway me from my personal opinion on the matter (that each one is the master of their own body and can choose to alter it as they see fit.)

    I would like to say I'm surprised at some of the responses, but really, I'm not.  For the people who are saying "shame on Arena Net", for the people who consider trans people to have a sickness or disease, for the people who simply don't believe a person can have a gender different from their physical sex, you are the problem.

     

    Trans gender people have existed as long as humans have existed.  In cultures where their experience is taken at face value, there are no social issues.  It took modern culture to turn something that wasn't an issue into an issue.  So congratulations for getting bent out of shape over something that doesn't affect you.  You are demonstrating all the reasons why changes like this need to be made and why they need to be advertised.
